I felt reassured that our guide knew where was and wasn't safe, and was aware of the particular risks. It's unusual to see a grand structure in such a state of decay, and it makes any remnants of the building's previous life even more compelling. I think the boiler room was a highlight for me, it truly looked like something out of a film. If you're interested in the vision and grand projects of the USSR, then I would definitely recommend this tour. Also, our tour guide was great, and very informed.
