Berlin by Segway - Morgan was an outstanding guide. Enjoyed the whole trip. Saw quite a bit of Berlin and we finished with extra time and he took us on a tour of other areas of Berlin not on the tour. Had lots of fun.

Good tour but I expected more - The tour was quite interesting, and the fact that it was on a Segway added to the fun. Our group consisted of just two people, and the guide was an Indian man very polite but shared very little information, possibly due to not knowing much about the history, the city, or the landmarks, and some points were not visited. Our tour was supposed to last three hours. About half an hour was spent explaining how to use the Segway, and our tour ended 20 minutes early when the guide asked if we wanted to go around again, but mentioned that we had supposedly visited all the spots. We decided to finish earlier. I don't think the three-hour tour is worth it. Perhaps a two-hour tour with a German guide speaking English would have been more enjoyable.

Good - but not if you have young children and/or are not confident riding on the road - We are a family with two group up children who have done Segway before on two occasions in different countries, but nothing quite like this. The last time we tried this it was at Tatton park and the time before was in a rural part of Spain, so when the tour guide set us up on the Segway and said practice on the road, I was a little skeptical (and also a little nervous). We set off and crossed a main road to start with, with one guide at the front (I did feel that we should maybe have had a guide also at the back), however the traffic on the road did stop for us as we pulled across, and then on through the park and up the river. We stopped on a few occasions when the tour guide pointed out various points of interest (Museum Island, Catheral, Brandenberg Gate). From the Cathedral we then went onto the main road down to Brandenberg Gate - I have to say I did not enjoy this part - we were in the cycle line, which is quite wide, but traffic was obviously driving past us. Even though car drivers are very considerate of cyclists, I did not feel particularly safe as this is not something that we are used to in Britain. However, we were then taken back to the start point, via Tiergarten and the back of the Reichstag building where the roads were much quieter and back along the canal.

Fun in Berlin - I especially liked that Mike (the head guy) recognized that my friend Beth and I would benefit by going separately with Morgan as our guide because we were more experienced and English speaking (rather than German like the 4 others)

Great way to see lots of Berlin vs by foot - Berlin is a great fit for a Segway tour with a guide. It’s flat, there are good bike lanes and traffic isn’t an issues when riding one.
There is a lot to see and Segways cover a lot of ground easily. They take an about 2 mins to get used to and comfortable operating.
Our guide was great at showing us around but could have been a little more dynamic or fun in his explanation of places.
We would happily do this again or recommend it.
