- Gedenkstatte und Museum Sachsenhausen - was a Nazi concentration camp in Oranienburg, Germany, used primarily for political prisoners from 1936 to the end of the Third Reich in May 1945. After World War II, when Oranienburg was in the Soviet Occupation Zone, the structure was used as an NKVD special camp until 1950 (See NKVD special camp Nr. 7)….

Visit to Sachsenhausen memorial 25/09/24 - Excellent tour of the concentration camp with our Guide Hugo, I felt trapped as in a book with his very interesting stories. Must-see tour on a visit to Berlin - A very good tour. The Guide (Felipe) had a good background and contributed many interesting and relevant data to the visit. Very good structuring of times. Definitely a recommended experience to get to know a little more the history surrounding these chilling places.
