- Vive Berlin Tours - We start at the meeting point of Potsdamer Platz to reach Nordbahnhof by S-Bahn, one of the ghost stations that remained closed for nearly thirty years after the Wall’s construction.
- Memorial of the Berlin Wall - At the Berlin Wall Memorial on Bernauerstrasse, we’ll relive the trauma of separation, visiting an original part of the death strip, the no man’s land. We’ll discuss escape attempts, tunnels dug for this purpose, and the terrible stories of those who lost their lives because of the Wall.
- Alexanderplatz - On the famous Alexanderplatz, in front of representative buildings of socialist Berlin, we’ll relive the emotions of the thousands who, through peaceful demonstrations, defied STASI’s political repression, triggering the “collapse” of the Wall and the subsequent disintegration of the Soviet bloc.
- East Side Gallery - We conclude our visit with the most famous and colorful piece of the Berlin Wall: the East Side Gallery and its 104 murals, including the now-famous kiss between Brezhnev and Honecker.

This excursion is not your typical ‘Eastern/Communist Berlin Tour’. We will take you to locations that help grasp Berlin’s past as East Germany’s capital. With a French-speaking guide, you’ll explore the Wall Memorial at Bernauerstrasse, get a glimpse of a previous ‘ghost station’, learn about communist architecture at the renowned former Stalin Allee, and visit the ‘East Side Gallery’.

Well-known places but a fantastic Guide! - Our Guide was absolutely excellent.
Explanations that greatly interested and passionate both a teenager and a grandfather who knew Berlin at the time of the wall.
The 3 hours passed too quickly!!!

Very nice visit. - We participated in this tour with great pleasure, the small group was friendly and the Guide was perfect. This visit, which lasted 3 hours, allowed us to discover an aspect of life and the city that would have remained unknown to us. We took the subway (so it is true that this adds up to the Award of the ticket) and, guided, it also allowed us to slip a little more into Berlin life. I have absolutely no regrets and I find it the best way to finally discover a city. Instead of wandering from street to street...

Good entry point to understand this city with complex history. - Excellent visit, well supervised, well documented. The 3-hour format is perfect.
We also visited Berlin’s must-sees with Vive Berlin, but with another French Guide. It was great too. It's a good Value for Award. We highly recommend.
