Loved, loved, loved it! - As a regular theatre-goer, I’ve seen shows of all kinds around the world. From Las Vegas spectaculars to the best West End musicals, and everything in between. But I’ve rarely seen anything as gloriously flamboyant and dazzling as Falling in Love.
The Palast is, apparently, the biggest theatre stage in the world – and it certainly seemed like it, from when the curtain opened wide at the start of the show, to when huge set pieces rolled into place from the back. And they certainly made good use of all the stage space, including above and beyond.
The nearest I can describe the show is as a cross between a glitzy Las Vegas revue and a Cirque du Soleil show. Ultra camp, dazzlingly colourful and non-stop entertaining.
The singing was split about 50/50 between English and German, but it didn’t really matter at all. There was a relatively thin story in there somewhere (something about a mute girl finding her voice in the world) but that really wasn’t too important. We were there to see the extravaganza of singing, dancing (some brilliant choreography), amazing lighting and stagecraft (with some additional surprises, especially in the second act) with magnificent costumes by Jean Paul Gaultier, and about a zillion Swarovski crystals.
And then, all of a sudden, we had acrobats doing something amazing. And later we had trampolining. Why? Who cares – just sit back and enjoy!
The seating in the theatre was excellent. Really comfortable, and a good, clear view from every seat in the auditorium. We bought tickets via their own website, and only paid about 55 Euros for our seats, ten rows back just off centre. More (and less) expensive seats are available, but we considered ours an incredible bargain.
The show and the hard-working performers thoroughly deserved their standing ovation.
I’d see it again, like a shot. And have already recommended it to friends who are visiting Berlin soon. They’ll love it, too!

Glitter, glamour, great! - Great show! Perfect staging and friendliness from Booking Referral to Show End! We had to rebook 1x for private reasons and that worked without problems. Great!

Fantastic show. - Impressive!!! Great acrobats, fantastic costumes and a ballet of the highest order. Good story interesting implemented.
Gastronomy: no long waiting times despite almost sold out house.
Despite air conditioning in the first part of the show quite warm.

Nice piece - Was a nice performance and fun. Not sure I liked the bilingual, though I understood both.

Beautiful show for the heart! - The show was magical, great view no matter where you sit. You're in the middle of it instead of just being there! It hits the heart and the great music still resounds after days! Highly recommended!

The show is always a highlight👍 - Even if I'm the 2. Once I saw the show, I was totally thrilled again. My husband and my mother were on the show for the first time and they loved it too.

Class everyone should have seen - Great event . The beginning with you too long in the representation. But then it started. breathtakingly simple class.

A feast of great costumes and colors - We were on the show last night and were very impressed. The costumes, the colors and also some very excellent dancers. One dancer even danced along to a number that was only danced by women. But because he was so perfect and elegant, I'm sure only I noticed it and I'm so excited about his technique and passion. Likewise, the artistic performances of the acrobats were fantastic and I have already seen a lot.
Absolutely worth seeing. I would love to be backstage to feel this great atmosphere.
Great production!!

Quite ok, but nothing more - We found the show Falling in Love not convincing. Costumes and stage technique are great, but musically we didn't like the show. Something between German pop and rock but without rousing or somehow catchy melodies. Heard and forgotten again. No catchy feeling.
The dance was nothing special with an Ausnshme either. The dance ensemble of the next high school could have done the same. The story of You and Me is almost non-existent and only serves as a hanger-on for all sorts of show acts, which are hardly related. Of course, you can't expect a deep-seated story from a revue, but a little red thread would still not have hurt.
Visually it was great, but only the look and great stage technique don't rip out a rather mediocre show.
