Must see show in Berlin - Every two years there is a new show in Friedrichstadtpalast. Each one is excellent. Prepared meticulously. Costumes, dancers, their performances and the stage itself are amazing. I see most of the shows twice as I bring my guests who are visiting Berlin to this show. It is a must see show if you are visiting Berlin.

World class - Incredible experience. World class with GDR history. The band, dancers, acrobats and singers deliver an incomparable show.

Sensory delight - The costume designs were magnificent. It was a worthwhile performance for that alone. The acrobats and trampoline performance was some of the best I’ve seen. The chorus line number and coordination of black and white was wonderful. The storyline was just okay but certainly a positive message. The water element introduced on stage was a wonderful technical feat. Enjoyable performance.

Those who don't love that should never be allowed to eat ice cream again. - So, so good. I'm just writing this because there are actually people who cancel the show. These people have no idea and must be very, very sad clowns. Masterpiece.

The most beautiful way of entertainment - A very entertaining mix of music, dance, acrobatics and variety. The costumes are very elaborately designed, sometimes a bit too crazy when I think of the rubberized balloon banana outfits or the futuristic aquahumans. It pulled out all the stops that the Friedrichstadtpalast offers, the constantly changing stage, whether with sparkling Swarowski crystals or water features, everything was there. Also highlighting the excellent vocals and the very audible music interludes, real earworms. And the handwriting of Jean Paul Gautier is unmistakable in every scene, of course he also advertises in his own cause, e.g. outfits that you know from his perfume advertising.

Why almost everything in English?? - We had given the tickets for the show to our grandmas for their birthday.Unfortunately they do not speak and understand English. Why do you have to sing in English in Germany. The costumes and the artists were great. We were also fascinated by the size of the stage with its possibilities. We would love to come back, but then we have to check first if the piece is in German.
