- Sanssouci Palace - Sanssouci was the summer palace of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia, in Potsdam, located nearby Berlin. Sanssouci is notable for the numerous temples and follies in the park. The palace was designed/built by Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff between 1745 and 1747 to fulfill King Frederick’s need for a private residence where he could relax away from the pomp and ceremony of the Berlin court.

An absolute must do - This exceeded expectations by a long shot ! Our host Yasmen (hope I have spelling right - was fantastic and a bit of fun, our bus driver was also lovely.
The trip is just the right amount of time and you learn so much on the bus while they drive you there.
The castle is stunning and skipping the line saves time.
I would say this a huge must do while travelling in Berlin.

Worth the trip - Wort the trip. The palace wasn’t very big but very interesting. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. The bus ride was also enjoyable.

Aucun souci à Sanssouci ! - Jasmin was an amazing guide. It's worth it. You can see the Wannsee, Potsdam (you will fall in love with it) & Sanssouci palace & find out everything about Alte Fritz & german history. Don't miss it!

A Palace with a Difference! - The Sanssouci Palace is very different to any palace we have seen so far. True to its meaning of no harm-no care each room brought this theme alive, with an underlay of Frederick the Greats passion for music! The extensive park grounds and the Neu Palace were also very interesting to see.

Good trip...no complaints! - Worth the trip...learned alot and the palace was definitely worth seeing. Having a tour guide pointing out important sites and having someone else do the driving was nice and relaxing. Our group was small, only 14, and you went theough the palace on your own with an audio guide so you never felt like you were part of a large mob of people.

Not recommended if you are short on time. Choose other stuff - I think the palace was nice. But we didnot get to experience any Potsdam except for the bridge. The guide was efficient
