A Most Memorable Experience - We were really impressed with the presentation given by Alejandro, our guide. He made the experience real and he explained each area at Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp in detail. Alejandro made it a most memorable experience. Thank you.

Highly educational and sensitive tour - Thanks to our guide Amelia, who is very knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. We could put the gravity of this experience in perspective, thanks to her insights and historical facts. It was wonderful to have a guide to point out the importance of certain aspects.

Amazing tour - Very interesting, Also very sad. Was shocked at the way the towns people coming off the trains. Took my 14 year old grandson who found it fascinating. He to was shocked by it all. I would reccomend this trip 100% . A lot of walking ( I found it hard) . We just missed the bus to the camp but got one back to station.

Recommended! - The tour starts at Alexanderplatz. Daniel was waiting for us there. A large group, because Ascension Day. Everyone had an ABC ticket so we could get on the road quickly. We first took the metro to Gesundbrunnen. From there the train to Oranienburg. Finally, a bit by bus. Daniel takes us extensively into the history before and during the visit to the concentration camp. He knows a lot and is very knowledgeable. I wouldn't have wanted to miss this tour. You can travel back to the starting point after the tour. But you can also stay or travel from there to another location.

Life changing tour - Our guide Pete was incredible and shared all his knowledge on this tour. Visiting a concentration camp today was a very strong experience, probably one that is necessary in order to understand the depth of the horrors of history and the level of evil that humanity can ever reach. It was very meaningful to ‘enter history’ to that level but very upsetting nevertheless. Understanding the facts in depth helps you clear lots of questions but one remains - can humanity really learn from this history lesson?

Tiring tour - The place is nice, but the guide Ricardo is tiring, repetitive and spends a lot of time talking about details that don't add much information instead of letting people walk around freely and get to know the spaces... I recommend the tour but I wouldn't do it with this company, pu with this guide

Avoid This Tour At All Cost - I’m traveling from Florida to Berlin, and due to hurricane Helene my flight was delayed a few times, pushing my arrival date two days later. In that timeframe I had this tour booked. I reached out and they denied modifying my reservation, because I didn’t give them 24 hours notice. Skip this tour - horrible company practice

Guide stranded us at the train station - We got to the meeting point at least 30 min early. When the guide showed up everything was super disorganized so it took quite a while for us to check in. We did realize we needed a train ticket but didn't know which one. I guess the tour company expects everyone to look up the train map and figure out where you are going so you buy the right ticket. The guide was annoyed and pointed to the train station and told us to go get tickets. He said the group would be going to that area (there are many entrances to many trains). We left a couple of our party outside to watch. The guide took the group a different way and completely left us. We ended up having to figure it out and go on our own. Which we were able to do with some difficulty which is why we booked the tour in the first place. I realize there is a time contraint but why assume everyone knows what train ticket they need. Why not message people or put it clearly on the website.

Lack of sensitivity and elegance - We will not hire a tour with Buendía again, much less a paid one. We chose for our Easter vacation in Berlin the tour of the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. It is true that we were not at the meeting point at the indicated time, but despite it being a paid tour (€25/person, there were 4 of us) and having confirmed the day before that we would be there, no one from Buendía or his guide, Jonas took the trouble to call to inquire about the reason. We made the visit on our own, thanks to Google Maps and the Audioguides in Spanish (€3.5/person) that they provide upon arriving at the Field. We learned a lot. It is an essential visit.
