Join us for an unforgettable guided tour of Sachsenhausen, a significant Holocaust memorial site and former Nazi concentration camp. This experience provides profound and respectful insights into the camp’s history and daily life, helping visitors understand the atrocities and resilience of those who suffered there.
The meeting point is Alexanderplatz, where an expert local guide will warmly welcome participants. From there, the group will enjoy a scenic train ride to Sachsenhausen.
Upon arrival, key sites of the camp will be explored, including the notorious Tower A, with its haunting “Arbeit macht frei” sign. The tour includes a walk through barracks 38 and 39, where Jewish prisoners were held, visits to the punishment cells, the infirmary, and the morgue. Participants will also see the kitchen, now a museum, and the remains of Station Z.
At the end of the tour, there is an option to return to Berlin with the group or stay longer to explore independently.
