An afternoon to remember - Claudia was knowledgeable, personable, and very engaging. She was fascinating to talk to and wonderfully articulate. We learned SO MUCH about Berlin and its history and culture. She gave us insights we never would have discovered otherwise. The food was plentiful and interesting.

Fantastic walking food tour - Highly recommend this tour! We did this private tour our first day in Berlin. Tiago was a phenomenal guide, very nice being private we could ask him everything regarding the city and recommendations for our week. We ate so much, be sure to go hungry!

Loved it - Tiago is such a warm and friendly host and really treated us to some amazing food! He took us to his local market and started us off with Leberkase. Then from there we walked to see the pretty part of the neighborhood which did not get bombed in the war. Plenty of history and funny stories told along the way. We had German , Turkish, Portuguese , Korean and Austrian food and drinks. Thank you Tiago for showing us your Berlin!

Excellent! - Our guide, Sara, not only provided us with a fabulous food tour but is a phenomenal historian with a delightful sense of humor. We learned so much about Berlin’s history both within the context of food and beyond. The four of us HIGHLY recommend her.

Not Great But Not Terrible - We have done several other walking tours…this one was a bit mediocre. Most of the tastes were good but the guide seemed a little disinterested (he mentioned it was his third tour of the day). The first two stops were fairly close, but we then walked 20+ minutes for a lukewarm beer and a naan pizza…to then walk 25 minutes back to past where we started for the last couple of stops. Surely there had to be a Biergarten somewhere closer. And he mostly walked in front of us the whole time and didn’t really engage all that much. For the food, we’d rate it a four. For the guide, we’d say maybe a three. If we could give it a 3.5 rating, we would. It was not worth the $140 we spent per person…we had several exceptional meals in Berlin that were all half the price (or less).
