Great experience - Small but nice! Lots of new information about the former GDR, such as the building of the Wall and the role of Khrushchev. Excellent research and lovingly implemented.

Well worth a visit - I would definitely recommend a visit here. The exhibition takes you through the pre-wall, wall building, living through and the fall of the wall. It is extremely well put together. You need to take your time to listen to all the contributors. It was quite emotional and touching. I have not seen this material elsewhere. Outside you can see painted section of the wall but we just had a short look at that-the museum was more interesting to us. On the day we visited it was around 30 degrees and it was a bit hot inside. They did have some air conditioning on and windows open but there were a lot of screens heating it up and it was a bit toasty. Nonethless - we weren't put off and took our time to absorb it all. I cannot truly understand some of the less positive reviews because ultimately this is all accounts from individual people affected by many aspects of the wall.

The Wall - It is a small self guided museum that is very informative and educational. The museum is created in a way to immerse yourself in this history. It was a great way to start the view of the Berlin Wall and then walk to Check Point Charlie.

Quite a small museum but good telling of history - The expectation for this museum was not very high, but it was a positive surprise. Tells the story through many videos with a lot of personal stories. You can spend 1 hour here and the price is 12 euros, which is on the high end. If you are in the area it is worth the visit

Informative - Quite interesting place. Informative to walk around for an hour and so and recall the events of the building of the wall and its ultimate fall. It's self guided. Some of the monitors were not working and so 4 stars.

Kicked out so staff could close early - Visited recently. It was late in the day but we were told we would have 50 minutes in the museum. Staff however proceeded to shut down the museum with 25 minutes to closing time and we were abruptly chased out the doors 15-20 minutes before they were due to close. Staff had already cashed up the till so we were unable to purchase anything. Disappointed in the staff, you shouldn't have taken our money and not given us the time we were due. It is bad service and a real shame as the museum was of interest.

Neither fu nor fa - It is a small, tendentious museum that is located on the second floor above a pirate-themed restaurant, that's how hidden it was. Only if you know absolutely nothing about the wall and Berlin can you contribute something, but it is very biased.

Tourist trap - A tourist staircase, doesn't mean much. A collection of projectors and screens that show images, which you can also easily find on the internet. Schoer, even 1/10 screens do not work. Expensive relative to what you get for it

Poor - Rude and unhelpful man serving in this small museum at the top of a number of flights of stairs. Not disability friendly. Would not recommend because of the man’s awful attitude.

Not so worth it - The museum isn’t really worth it. Is even more expensive than some of the museums from the Museums Island! It consists mostly on videos that you can easily find on the internet… It is also not so tourist friendly since there’s no audio guides for people from other countries. Even some of the texts are only in german.. Considering the museum is beside the Wall they should consider having more languages available… The elevator is only for staff use. For some disabled people it’s difficult to get upstairs like it was in our case. The only good thing was the staff that was super friendly and polite.
