- Anhalter Bahnhof - This station, of which a ruined original part remains, was one of the starting points for the deportations of Berlin’s Jews. From there, we will take a train to reach Berlin’s Jewish quarter.
- Stiftung Neue Synagoge Berlin - Centrum Judaicum - We will tell you about the Jewish community in the 19th and 20th century and the history of the synagogue.
- Auguststrasse - We will speak about different institutions which used to be in this street, as a school for Jewish girls and an orphanage in the Nazi Time.
- Grosse Hamburger Strasse - We will see the old Jewish cemetery and a “Sammellager”. The place where Jews were detained before their deportation.
- Museum Blindenwerkstatt Otto Weidt - The Museum tells the story of the workshop. The owner of the small factory, Otto Weidt, employed mainly blind and deaf Jews here during World War II. They produced brooms and brushes. Otto Weidt tried to protect them. You will listen to a story about braveness and humanity.
