Highlights
  • Liesenbrücken - An abandoned bridge in the path of the Berlin Wall.
  • Memorial of the Berlin Wall - The Berlin Wall Memorial commemorates the division of Berlin by the Wall and the deaths at the Berlin Wall. The national monument, a 70-meter-long original section of the border fortifications, was rebuilt in 1998 by the Federal Republic of Germany and the state of Berlin on Bernauer Straße (parts of the Wall come from other sections) and later expanded. Today, over a length of 1.4 kilometers on the former border strip, the memorial also includes an outdoor exhibition, the Chapel of Reconciliation, the Berlin Wall Documentation Centre, the Window of Remembrance as well as the visitor centre and an exhibition in the neighbouring Nordbahnhof S-Bahn station.
  • Mauerpark - A park that follows the course of the former Berlin Wall along Schwedter Straße. As a popular local recreation area, the Mauerpark with its flea market and numerous street musicians is one of the most popular sights in Berlin.
  • Rabbit Field - Rabbit Field in the former death strip

Thorough tour of the wall - Behzad just gave my daughter and I an incredible tour. Well worth the money and he knew his history very well, with good English to boot! Showed us lots of things we wouldn't have seen if we just tried to do the walk ourselves. Thanks so much Behzad. Gareth and Bethany

Enlightening and Eye Opening. - My guide was excellent, he knew his history around the Berlin Wall. The biggest eyeopener was Death Street, the area between the Border Wall and the Inner Wall. That aspect I was unfamiliar with prior to the tour.
