After going down the cliff by a path, we must climb 241 step in order to get to San Juan ermitage. The views are impossible to forget. - Bermeo - The most important seafaring town in Biscay, full of life and interesting history. A walk through the old town will take us to the port.
- Mundaka - Small town where we’ll enjoy beautiful views of Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. Very famous among surfers around the world thanks to his perfect left wave.
- Gernika-Lumo - A very important town for the basque people. Here we’ll visit the “Board House” where it’s located the famous Gernika tree. Here we’ll find out about the history and traditions of the Basque Country. We can see the “Gernika” reproduction, the famous Piccasso’s picture.

Awesome tour! - This was one of the most personal tours we have ever experienced. Jose Luis was great and very knowledgeable. We went up San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, followed by lunch in Bermeo, a walk around Mundaka, and ending in Guernika. The time of the tour was just as advertised. We had a lot of fun and would recommend it to anyone wanting a more private and intimate tour of the basque coast. Definitely worth it!

Jose is a Great Guide! - My friend and I did a private car tour. The guide Jose was very knowledgeable about all of the locations we visited. He truly cares about his Basque heritage and history. Jose also has a magnificent personality, it was so easy to converse with him. We had a wonderful time spending the day with Jose. Truly worth the trip!

Awesome experience !!! - What a great experience. Jose is definitely the best and we highly recommend him to anyone. We had such a great time that we feel we made a new friend in Bilbao.
Since the begging of the tour, Jose was amicable and very attentive. The tour is spectacular and no one should missed it, specially with Jose.

Can we Give 6 stars - This was an intimate tour with a very proud local who loves this region.
It was the perfect blend of exercise and discovery mixed with comfort and relaxation. The tour was broken onto 4 parts.
Region 1 and 2 followed by a 1-hour lunch of local food and wine. Then another region to finish. Not one for normally giving 5 out of 5 but on this occasion, we experienced perfection.

An unexpected treasure,... - An unexpected treasure, remarkable views of the coast line, walks in some of the most beautiful coastal towns, a fantastic day thanks to our tour guide Jose who was knowledgeable of the area history, well worth the effort.

Wonderful September Tour - Of our entire two week trip, our favorite day was spent with Jose. He so thoughtfully picked out the itinerary. It was filled with natural beauty, the surrounding villages, and the history of the region. The walk up to Gaztelugatxe was absolutely spectacular and not to be missed, and Jose was so thoughtful to make reservations so we could experience it.
Jose really made the day. We so appreciated the conversation throughout ranging from Basque culture, our favorite music, and current events. He tells you all of the things you are curious about that you can’t find in books or a website. You leave the day with Jose as good friends, we will always remember the day fondly. We highly recommend this experience!

Fantastic day of exploration - Wow, what a fantastic day it was! The highlight of our trip. We had such a wonderful experience exploring the region with Jose as our guide. Not only was he knowledgeable but he was so welcoming and friendly. He has great care for his customers and the details of the excursion. I highly recommend this experience if you are looking to visit many unique places to the Basque region

Wonderful day trip!! - We started our trip with a spectacular climb up the zigzagging stairs to the church of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. Challenging but some of the most spectacular views ever. Then to the charming fishing village of Bermeo. Jose is extremely knowledgeable with a deep love for his Basque region, a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Highly recommended!
