Annapurna Region - After breakfast, begin your trek towards Chamje. The trail descends to Syange (1100m), where you’ll cross an exhilarating suspension bridge over the Marsayangdi River and continue along the river to reach Jagat. Enjoy a gentle hike through a forested path leading to the charming village of Chamje. The trails are very easy and comfortable.
Trek from Chamje to Bagarchhap (7087ft)
Jagat - After breakfast, trek to Bagarchhap via Jagat, entering the Manang District. You’ll pass through captivating rice, barley, and potato fields. Visit the village of Kodo and experience its lifestyle. A steep climb from here leads to the large village of Dharapani in the Manang Valley.

Annapurna Mountain Range - After breakfast, leave Dharapani and follow the trail to Chame. Along the way, enjoy small wooden bridges, landslides, waterfalls, Tamang villages, apple orchards, and rest at Chame, the administrative headquarters of Manang. Here, you’ll find various hotels, banks, telephone services, and a post office.
Chame - Chame is the headquarters of the Manang District in the Annapurna Region. It is an important town for trekkers, offering a variety of shops such as gear shops, medicinal stores, and cold stores. Trekkers can find all necessary supplies for their journey. The lodging facilities here are superior to other destinations on the circuit trek.
Trek from Chame to Pisang (10171ft)
Annapurna Mountain Range - After breakfast, head towards Pisang. The trails are steep and rocky. Pass through villages like Telukhu and Bharatang, enjoying dramatic views of Annapurna II, Pisang Peak, and the valleys of Himal Chuli and Ngadi Chuli. The trail climbs through pine forests until you reach Pisang. Overnight stay in Pisang.
Trek from Pisang to Manang (11614ft)
Manang - After breakfast, trek above the tree line, where the air becomes thinner. The trail passes through a Mani wall, the largest part of a Tibetan-style village built with rocks. You’ll see the famous Tilicho Lake, Pisang Peak, monasteries, and finally arrive at the enchanting land of Manang. Manang offers excellent tea houses with food facilities.
Acclimatization Day at Manang Village
Manang - Today is an acclimatization day, and it’s recommended to stay active rather than idle. Explore the surroundings from the camp or visit Gangapurna Glacier Lake, which is worth seeing. Another option is to visit Bhojo Gompa, a thirty-minute climb from Manang, offering spectacular views of Tilicho Lake and Annapurna 2 & 4.
Trek from Manang Village to Khangsar Village (12251ft)
Annapurna Mountain Range - After breakfast, continue your journey by following the path leading to the river. Cross the Khangsar Khola via a bridge and ascend the slope to Khangsar Village. This village is a typical Tibetan-style settlement and is considered the last village of Nepal.
Trek from Khangsar to Tilicho Base Camp (13615ft)
Tilicho Lake - After breakfast, start your trek to Tilicho Base Camp. You’ll encounter a Gompa and follow a newly constructed trail up to a high ridge. At this point, you’ll notice two routes - an old, challenging one and a newer, easier option. Choose the latter and continue until you reach the crest, then descend along steep slopes to a side valley. Your destination for the night is Tilicho Base Camp.
Trek to Tilicho Lake (16142ft) & Return to Tilicho Base Camp (13615ft)
Tilicho Lake - After breakfast, trek a short distance to Tilicho Lake and enjoy the panoramic vistas and stunning views of the lake. Afterward, return to base camp for an overnight stay.
Trek from Tilicho Base Camp to Yak Kharka (13287ft)
Annapurna Region - After breakfast, trek to Yak Kharka. To reach Yak Kharka, descend slowly from Tilicho Base Camp and climb 500 meters. As you pass through Tengi, you’ll leave the Marsayangdi Valley and head towards the Thorung Khola.
Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (14845ft)
Thorong La - After breakfast, trek to Thorong Phedi towards the Kone River. Upon arrival, cross the river via a wooden bridge and continue on a narrow trail leading to a short ascent on the right. Finally, descend to reach Thorong Phedi, where you’ll spend the night.
Trek to Muktinath (3760m/12336ft) via Thorung La Pass (5416m/17769ft)
Thorong La Pass - After breakfast, begin your trek and climb rocky trails, then follow icy, slippery paths to the incredible Thorong La Pass (5416m), a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The stunning mountain vistas will leave you in awe. Be prepared for a headache and cold due to the icy wind. Descend to the famous pilgrimage temple, Muktinath, a Vishnu temple regarded as a path to salvation. Explore the Muktinath Temple surroundings. Overnight at a lodge in Muktinath.
Muktinath Temple - Muktinath, also known as Muktinath Kshetra or Muktinath Valley, is a renowned pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists. Pilgrims have visited this sacred site since ancient times, as it is one of the 108 Divya Desams and one of the eight sacred places known as Svayam Vyakta Ksetras (the others being Srirangam, Srimushnam, Tirupati, Naimisharanya, Totadri, Pushkar, and Badrinath). Situated at the base of Thorong La Pass at an altitude of 3,710 m, this sacred site features a temple and 108 stone taps. Bathing in these taps is believed to cleanse sins. After bathing, you can also bathe in two ponds outside the temple, one to purify the inner self and the other to bless the body. Afterward, you can perform Puja and Aradhana.
Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom
Jomsom - After breakfast, visit Muktinath Temple without eating, as it is believed in Nepal that one should not eat before visiting the temple to maintain purity. This is a famous pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists worldwide, with devotees from India, Tibet, and Bhutan visiting annually. After performing rituals at the temple, have breakfast and trek down to Jomsom. Along the way, you’ll encounter the fascinating ruined village of Jarkot, the Kali Gandaki Valley, and a 500-year-old Gompa. Overnight at a lodge in Jomsom.
Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara & Explore Pokhara
Pokhara - After breakfast, fly to Pokhara, transfer to hotels, and explore the area. You can enjoy activities like boating.
