Boa Vista Island: Full-day Northeast Tour + Ervatão Beach
Rabil - Get picked up at your hotel and depart towards Rabil, the second most populated village in Boa Vista. There, meet locals, visit a local handicraft production, and appreciate the work of artisans who dedicate themselves to making decorative pieces with clay from the Barreiro.
Curral Velho - Continue toward the Fonte Vicente Oasis, and observe the leafy fruit trees like a giant fig tree, robust almond trees, tamarind, and an exotic baobab tree. Drive toward Curral Velho, and discover an agricultural oasis where the green merges with the aridity of the mountain. Find a large salt mine embellished by extensive golden dunes, palm trees, and date palms, as well as a wild beach about 5 kilometers (around 3 miles) long. From there, see the islet of Curral Velho, a favorite spot with divers where hundreds of reed-tailed birds live.
Ervatão - Following a path along the coast, pass along the beach of João Barrosa until reaching Ervatão beach, a wild paradise and the most important spawning point for loggerhead sea turtles, also known as Caretta Caretta. There, if the sea conditions permit, have the opportunity to swim in the beautiful waters of this paradisiacal beach.
Fundo das Figueiras - The island tour continues towards the villages in the northeast, with a break for lunch at Fundo das Figueiras, a small village entirely dedicated to agriculture and pastoralism.
Sal Rei - The tour concludes with drop-off at your accommodation.
Boa Vista: Full-day Viana Desert, Shipwreck, Caves and Santa Monica Beach Tour
Cabo Santa Maria - Get picked up at your hotel and depart towards Cabo de Santa Maria Shipwreck, where an old boat has been stranded for 50 years becoming a symbol and a source of inspiration for local painters and photographers.
Deserto de Viana - The tour follows towards Viana Desert, from where you will marvel in the sand forming dunes brought from the Sahara Desert to the island by the wind over many years.
Pavoacao Velha - Leaving the desert the tour proceeds towards Povoação Velha, the right place to meet locals and get to know the atmosphere of the oldest settlement on the island.
Praia da Varandinha - Flanking the coast with a wonderful panorama and views, discover the wonders and secrets carved behind the Varandinha limestone caves, formed naturally by the erosion of the sea in the dunes.
Santa Monica Beach - Take a break for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and then cool off with a dip in Santa Monica Beach, considered the most beautiful beach of the archipelago and one of the most beautiful beach in the world.
Praia de Chaves - After you will then head to Morro de Area until arrive in the last spot, Chaves beach.
Santa Monica - Drive through the entire length of the beach.
Sal Rei - The tour concludes with drop-off at your accommodation.
Goodbye Boa Vista
Boa Vista - Start your last day with a delicious breakfast at your accommodation and then enjoy your free time according to the flight schedules. Check out from the accommodation and at agreed time be picked up in Sal Rei and transferred to the airport.
