Very good tour company. Top class. - Ayman, Randa, Mahmoud and Niveen were excellent throughout. A very special mention for Ayman who thought of every detail throughout the aswan/Luxor part of the trip. The trip was top notch and we were taken care of very well. Thank you to the crew for their support

Look At Egypt is a must! - Fabulous! We ended up doing a customized trip including Cairo, Aswan, a flight to/from Abu Simbel and the river cruise from Aswan to Luxor. We also spent a few days at an all inclusive in Hurghada. We loved every minute of our trip. It’s hard to say what our favorite experience was because each day was amazing. Our tour guides, Mahmoud and Mohammad were the best! Both were knowledgeable and made our experience enjoyable. We were met at each airport and had prompt transportation to/from each destination.
Communication prior to our trip was also great. I am someone who has a lot of questions and Look at Egypt always responded to my numerous questions via email promptly.
If you are considering a visit to Egypt, I would recommend Look at Egypt. They handled all of the booking and planning and it made our trip so easy. If we ever make it back to Egypt we would without a doubt book again with Look at Egypt!

Amazing Experience with Look at Egypt Tours - Truly, the trip of a lifetime! I had a fantastic experience with Look at Egypt Tours. I booked the 10-day "Best of Egypt Tour" to Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, and Aswan, and every stage of the trip was thoughtfully planned, clearly communicated, and excellent in terms of the accommodations and services provided. My three tour guides (Karim, Abanoub, and Samira) were incredibly knowledgeable about the sites that we were seeing and went above and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable as a solo female traveler. They were so gracious and helpful in answering my questions, taking photos, and helping me with any needs that arose along the way. Upon my arrival in Egypt, Look at Egypt's representatives (especially Mahmoud) were there every step of the way to help with transportation, accommodation, and other logistics, and would always clearly communicate with me what to expect in terms of the next stage of the trip (departure times, schedules, lodging, etc). Pickups, drop-offs, and excursions were always punctual. My two hotels (in Cairo and Luxor) and the Nile River Cruise ship were first-rate in terms of the level of accommodation, cleanliness, amenities, and the friendliness of the staff. As a solo traveler, I am so grateful that my guides were there to arrange all aspects of transportation, accommodation, tickets, site visits, and anything else I might need. Mahmoud even helped me arrange a Covid-19 test at my hotel the day before my departure from Egypt. I would absolutely recommend Look at Egypt Tours to anyone looking for a low-stress and unforgettable trip to Egypt. I had an amazing time, and the sites you see in Cairo, Alexandria, Aswan, and Luxor are historically fascinating and visually breathtaking. I hope to visit again someday!

12 days Egypt Tour - The Tour Manager Ms.Nesma Mohammed and Representative Ms. Kholoud Mohammed were exceptional.
The Cairo Airport meet and Assist representative Mr Tareq was very good but the Airport Rep meeting me for the Aswan / Cairo flight was very poor and was over 25 minutes late. He did not even had the grace to apologise just acted as he was there all the time.
The Look At Egypt Tours company CEO Mr Ahmed phoned and apologised for this single bad experience which was soon forgotten.
Ms. Nesma is a super person, very patient with all queries. She happily clears all doubts very concisely and takes pains to make sure all is well
Planned. Excellent English language communications too.I highly recommend both Nesma & Kholoud.
Their guide in Aswan Mr. Remon had good knowledge however he appeared bored with seeing the places every day with different people, so just did enough to pass by.
The Guide in Cairo Mr. Ahmed was very good and knowledgeable.
Overall it was a very good tour experience with the Nile Cruise vessel Steinberger Minerva which was very good , good wholesome varities of Buffet food, only they had very poor wifi connectivity with none in the cabin, only passable wifi in the reception area sometimes.
In closing I would highly recommend Nesma Mohammed and look at Egypt Tour & Travel company. Thank you.

Seamless trip, we squeezed the most out of our 10 days - We had an all-around great experience with Look at Egypt tours.
Egypt was amazing, way more impressive than what's on any postcard, and Look at Egypt helped us make the most of it. For that, we are eternally grateful!
They answered all our emails within 24h and allowed us to customize the itinerary. We combined the "Best of Egypt tour" with the "white desert safari adventure" (2 nights in the desert). Even though we contacted them only 2 weeks in advance, they managed to book everything, and the price was excellent, taking into account that it's a private tour and included all accommodation (our hotel in Cairo had a view of the Nile and the Egyptian museum!), transportation, guides, and most meals.
We got the contact of the CEO, Ahmed, in case we needed anything during our trip. During our first day in the desert, we realized that our guide thought we were only staying 1 night (instead of 2), so he called Mr. Ahmed and he quickly resolved the issue, and we were able to enjoy our 2 nights in the desert.
When arriving in and leaving Cairo, we were assisted by Tarek and Kholoud (on different days). They helped us deal with all practicalities swiftly and professionally and answered all our basic Egypt questions.
There was always a driver waiting to take us where we needed to go, and the cars were in great condition, clean and air-conditioned.
In Cairo, our guide Mohey was very knowledgeable, incredibly sweet, and patient. We talked not only about ancient Egypt but also about modern life in the country and how people live. He helped us avoid being scammed near the pyramids and got us a camel ride in the best spot. He also slightly adapted our itinerary in Cairo to suit our needs and was super supportive when I didn't feel so well at the Egyptian Museum.
The desert was our favorite part of the trip. It took many hours to get there, but it's so worth it: the views, the night sky, the vibe. Our guide and driver in the desert was Ahmed, assisted by his cousin Hassan. Ahmed was an extremely skilled driver and a great cook (he made us breakfast, lunch, and dinner!).
The Nile cruise between Aswan and Luxor was another highlight of our trip, we highly recommend doing it. Our guide Saad was highly knowledgeable and experienced, and he helped us fit lots of extra activities into our program. By the end of the cruise, we were exhausted from getting up at 3-4 AM, but we were happy we got to visit Abu Simbel, a beautiful Nubian village, and do the hot air balloon ride in Luxor. You will get a list of extra activities on the day of arrival, and basically, any "free time" on the itinerary can be filled with these.
Do consider that you will need lots of cash to pay for the extra activities and tip the guides, drivers, cruise staff, etc. They accept dollars, euros, and Egyptian pounds, and the guide will take you to an ATM whenever you need.
Our itinerary was interspersed with trips to workshops and talks to local vendors. The demonstrations we got at the workshops (making papyrus, carpets, etc.) were a pleasant addition to the trip and provided a more immersive experience. However, it was awkward that we were given a sales pitch after each demonstration and put under pressure to buy the products sold there. We would have rather paid for an entrance ticket or given a donation, as the products on display were generally quite expensive.

Our recent trip booked through Look at Egypt was a two week custom archaeological tour. - My wife has been obsessed with Egypt from childhood. For years it has been a "Someday" bucket list trip. Then the stars aligned and Look at Egypt helped us make it a reality. We wanted to see as much as we could to try and get the most comprehensive exploration of ancient and modern Egypt as was possible in our two weeks. For us vacations are for exploring amazing places you haven't experienced yet. We'll sleep at home.
Look at Egypt and our guide put together a whirlwind trip through all of Egypt from Alexandria to Abo Simbel showing us many amazing points in between. More important than what we saw, the itinerary was arranged to take us on a trip through history. Seeing the mud brick structures and small sandstone temple of El Fayoum gave us a starting place in time and technology. Progressing through our next few sites showed us the evolution of building and artistic techniques. The beautiful depictions of daily life in tempera paints of Beni Hassan to rough carving hieroglyphics at Dendara and combining color with the smoother carvings at Abydos. It really gave us perspective to really appreciate seeing the huge constructions like Karnak and the Great pyramids.
Equally as important as the physical remains is the knowledge of influences and events of the time. Our guide and personal Egyptologist, Mohamed Abu Elmadg (we called him Mu), was an overflowing font of comprehensive knowledge of ancient and modern Egypt. My wife, being an enthusiastic student, quickly became the teacher's pet. Our questions often took us slightly off topic but prompted Mu to give us an ever broader picture of the history around their incredible sites. All this knowledge came together in Alexandria seeing the Roman built sites, where they tried to copy the style and meaning of the older Egyptian sites but didn't really understand the details.
We wanted to experience the culture of Egypt, not just the history. Mu was also our guide through modern Egypt, along with our driver Romeo. They helped us experience the more common foods typical of Egypt. Some highlights were the Falafel sandwiches, and chicken or meat grills. Fool is a very common breakfast dish, similar to refried beans but with local accompaniments, fresh veggies and tahini. We learned from Romeo that it's amazing with some falafel chunks mixed in. Another staple is Kushari, it's a vegetarian carb bomb but goes down super easy with all the fried onions and tomato sauce. Also their Lemons are something else amazing, they come with everything. US lemons are pale and boring in comparison.
We learned a little Egyptian to use while there: Yes, No, thank you, you're welcome, Good morning. Everyone we talked to had at least some English but all were impressed when we spoke like a local.
We also had the opportunity to see some of the local industry. We had personal little tours of an alabaster workshop, oriental carpet shop, perfumery, and papyrus producer. Each showed us their process in a kind and often amusing short tour. We saw their wares and had a pleasant low pressure shopping experience at each.
Mu and the Look at Egypt crew took care of everything, checking into hotels, airline flights, boats, vans, and horse carriages for transportation and sightseeing. As we got to know Mu as a friend and we learned about each other and shared some of our beliefs and cultures, he suggested some additional things we could add into the last few days of our itinerary, one of which was a sunrise hot air balloon ride over Luxor. Definitely do that if you get the chance. Our daily ATM limit was the only issue with booking the additions, but it was easy enough to stop on the way somewhere once a day.
It was literally a trip of a lifetime. All our friends are going to hate us soon because there is so much to try to tell them. I can't imagine not talking about this trip to everyone I meet for a very long time.
It's your turn. Go to Egypt. Work with Look at Egypt to plan your once in a lifetime trip!

We had a wonderful experience with this tour group! - My family signed up for the 14 day trip and it was amazing! We had a private van, drivers and our own private Egyptologists. This tour group is (5) Stars in every aspect! We loved the Giza pyramids, sphinx, Karnak, Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Philae Temples and Abu Simbel! Egypt will be forever ingrained in our mind and hearts forever. ❤

Great experience! - We had a 6 night 7day tour starting in Cairo, including a 3 night Nile Cruise.
Ahmed was our guide in Cairo and took excellent care of us taking us on a non stop tour of the wonderful sites. He was informative and charming. Beware the locals “helping” you to take pictures of the sphinx. Much money was demanded, although the pictures were very good.
We were then handed over to Mohammed in Aswan who was fun, extremely knowledgeable and again took great care of us. He really knew his stuff and helped us to understand so much more of Egyptian history.
The Nile Cruise was wonderful, floating by palm trees with sand dunes in the background was both relaxing and stunning. We had some issues with our cabin but these were quickly resolved by the helpful cruise staff. The food was very good.
Highlights of the tour were many - the Pyramids and Sphinx of course, Luxor temple and the Valley of the Kings were my personal favourites.
All in all a very memorable week. A big thank you to Ahmed and Mohammed as well as all the drivers and other staff who helped to make this such a great experience.

Loved the multi-day tour with them - I did a 8 day tour with them with my family, and it was a very fun and interesting trip for all of us. To get to see the temples built thousand of years ago, the Pharaoh's and their story, seeing the mummy, all was a great learning.
The tour guide Mohammad and Dalia, both were fantastic and had deep knowledge. Our group was very small 6 of us, so did not have to worry about big crowds. Accommodation provided were superb and the cruise was very relaxing and fun way to travel from Luxor to Aswan.

Awesome Adventure - I travelled to Egypt in early November with my sisters. We were greeted at the Cairo Airport, taken quickly to obtain our Visas and went through customs in less then 15 minutes. The hotel in Cairo was adequate, daily included breakfast was good. We met our Cairo tour guide the next morning. She was well experienced and knowledgeable. She new the best areas to take pictures and even directed my sisters to the best location for a camel ride with the back drop of the Giza Pyramids. Our transfer to Luxor was seamless. The domestic flight was better than expected. We were once again greeted at the Luxor airport and started our tour with another tour guide of Luxor before arriving to the Nile Cruise. The Cruise was clean and well accommodating. the meals were adequate and the small rise feel was better than expected. there was always a long chair on the top desk avaiable. This tour guide was knowledgable and pleasant. We had a great time in Luxor and Aswan. We took an optional tour of the Nubian Village. We returned to Cairo and spent the enact day in Alexandria. The Mediterranean Sea was spectacular. Overall, this tour was great. My sisters and I expected to be joined by other tourists on our tour, this was not the case. We had our own guides and transportation van during our tour. The vans were air-conditioned and relatively clean. The tour guides provided good recommendations for places to purchase souvenirs. I would highly recommend this tour. I would only mention the Nile Cruise tour guide did not provide a detailed schedule of the day. He did not indicate the driving time to tour sites. This would have been helpful as some tour sites were over one hour drive.
