Outstanding Tour Company and Exceptional Guide - What made for an exceptional experience on our 18 day trip to Turkey was our outstanding tour guide, Ms Esra Ozdamar and her team from Tour Altinkum Turkey. They custom designed our tour from beginning in Istanbul, to Mardin, Gobekli Tepe, Sanliurfa, Gazintep, Ephesus, Pamukkale, Capadoccia, a Gulet Boat tour until our departure from Istanbul. They were able to find accommodations that met our expectations and were still within our travel budget. They took care of all our flights within Turkey, drivers and entrances into museums and historic sites which made it worry free. Ms Esra’s attention to detail made for a seamless and smooth experience. We were able to completely relax and enjoy the journey without worrying about anything because Ezra had taken care of it for us. She anticipated our every need such as having extra pillows on our bed at each hotel and arranging for rooms which had windows, as I had requested for Cappadocia, and getting us meds and probiotics for a bit of travelers GI upset. Miss Ezra was knowledgeable about all of the historical sites we visited, local restaurants, history of turkey and its peoples, and knowing the best times to visit sites of interest to avoid crowds. Additionally, she is so personable and delightful to spend time with. From the moment we met her at Istanbul airport she interviewed us carefully to uncover who we were, what our interests were and what would make us comfortable on our journey through her country. We are so grateful to her and her team for the attentive care and to our stateside trip planner, Justin Randolph of Earthtones, who connected us with the Altinkum Tour company. In the past we have done our own research and trip planning, so we truly appreciate how work goes into the back end for a successful experience. My husband and I can recommend them without reservation and wonder why we didn’t hire them sooner!

A blend of history, contemporary and modern culture - We had a great tour, with excellent administrative backup from Tour Altinkum, and hosted by a pleasant, helpful and very knowledgeable tour guide, Efe. He went out of his way to share his knowledge and historical anecdotes with us to place everything into context. I will certainly recommend both Tour Altinkum and with Efe as tour guide without hesitation

Our tour experience - This tour was amazing and more than what we expected, and Efe was such a good guide and he was so efficient and made us so comfortable. We learnt so much about Turkey from him and he made the tour very interesting. I would strongly recommend this tour to our friends in New Zealand and Australia. The only suggestion is regarding the hot air balloon booking, and we did not realise that an early booking was required to secure our places. It would be good if this can be conveyed to the clients.

A good introduction to Turkey - Trip was a good way of getting around and seeing the different places in Turkey. It was a good introduction of the country for first time visitors.

Best Türkiye Tour with Mert - What an amazing and well-organized tour by Tour Altinkum. Everything was super easy and smooth. We got a good taste of Türkiye visiting Istanbul, Kusadasi, Antalya, and Cappadocia, seeing many beautiful and interesting sights, and learning a lot about the history and culture of the regions. Mert, our guide, gave us an unforgettable experience. He was very easygoing and flexible, making sure to accommodate everyone in the tour so they can get what they wanted out of the tour. He taught us a lot about the country, showed us many great places, and read many coffee cup fortunes. Thanks for a great trip! I highly recommend this trip!

It really was the best of Turkey! - Great trip led by Mustafa Mert. This tour gives you a bit of everything, starting with the city sights of Istanbul, the beach vibes in Kusadasi and Antalya, many ancient spots inbetween, and finishes in beautiful Cappadocia. We covered many famous sights, had lots of new experiences and learnt a lot of history along the way! I would highly recommend this tour to get a flavour of Turkey and its rich culture.

10 day tour trip in turkey - Mustafa Mert baspinar, what can I say, it was such an amazing trip! His energy, kindness, and knowledge was spectacular. He is very attentive with everyone in our group, especially my family of 5. Experience for Turkey - Cities with a lot of history, you need time to dedicate to each place, there are many travelers and in June, July is very hot, if you are special for food take your precautions and travel as comfortable and with time to rest on your return, use your translation app, speak little English, little Spanish, you do not need to change your money before, there you can withdraw from the ATM or you can carry dollars or euros. Take for extra expenses for all extra places, take advantage to know everything you can If you have time to travel to nearby Greek islands, consider that your visa to Turkey is multi-entry so that you do not spend double
