Typical City Tour Great Overview of The City - We couldn’t find any signs for the Santa Monica stop. The information was vague at best for the stop. By dumb luck we saw the bus and were able to board. The tour was fairly topical of any city tour we have done in the past. Great general information on landmarks and celebrities. A great way to get an overview of the city. We only did the Yellow - Ocean Route. It was all the time we had for one day.

Awesome - Hop on hop off was great!! Lots of traffic, so busy was late. Make sure to leave plenty of time so you don't miss the last bus because of traffic. We had a great time seeing Beverly Hills downtown L.A and Dolby theater.

One day to see everything! - We had a 1 day pass and we hopped on 2 different routes. Easy to navigate around. We got to see the Hollywood line and the Santa Monica line. We found it cheaper to get on a red bus than get a taxi to locations we wanted to see. You also get to hear a lot of interesting facts along the journey so remember to pick up your free headsets. Be prepared to sit in rush hour traffic and choose a nice warm day to sit upstair.

No satisfied - Did not like that there was no Rodeo Drive stop. The drop off was far and very difficult to find on way back then wound up taking Lyft since next bus was over 1/2 wait

A bus broke down. Our bus was late. We ended up taking an UBER back - Audio was out of sequence multiple times. They used to have a person talk and that was amazing. Our bus was very late to leave. No idea why. All they would say is we are leaving soon. Got to stop 7 to transfer and was told the other bus was broken down and it would be another 45 minutes of waiting at the stop. We took an uber home instead

A lot of waiting - Took the tour and did the red “Hollywood” and Yellow “S Monica” lines. Wish I’d saved our stop for the Farmers Market instead of rodeo drive as ended up waiting 1.5 hours for another bus and ended up just getting the last bus back to Hollywood. Probably only way to see everything but still was pretty basic - not comparable to others we have done in London and Barcelona

The bus that didn't turn up! - This company is generally a great experience for travellers and I have been with them in Paris,Rome and Athens etc. First time in LA staying so thought we would take in the sights. Result not much to see and lots of traffic.Changed from one line to go to Santa Monica and well it is a pretty sad experience so we jumped of at the pier for a look and told by our female driver where we should stand for the last bus back.As with others on here the bus didn't turn up until it was dark and our very stern previous lady driver suddenly appeared at the bus stop.Another Aussie couple with us so we were not silly. She could not help us as she was only heading to the depot to refuel and go home.Impossible to help and she spoke to someone who said the bus had gone to the stop and we must have missed it.Well we were next to the bus stop having a cocktail ready to leap on but wow somehow we missed a massive Red bus that supposedly parked 10 meters from our seat??And the other couple were in the area also missed seeing the Red giant! Our only option was the LA train back to West Hollywood which thanks to our new Aussie mates,Hi to Jeff Fenechs doppelganger, fun trip. So all in all this Hop on Hop off is rubbish from a tourist perspective and from a customer service experience!

Save your money and PASS on this tour. - This tour is now fully automated audio and has no live interaction. The audio often does not match where the bus actually is leaving you to try and find exactly what the sights you are trying to see actually are. The drop off and pick up times are not accurate and you are left waiting. On our pick up from Rodeo Drive - 45 minutes late - the driver didn’t put on the audio leaving us to basically pay $210 for public transportation. We typically use this service in each city we visit as we enjoy getting an overview of a city and interesting information of the sights - this was neither. 1/5 I would not recommend. Spend your money on a tour that actually provides a service. It appears to have been reduced to a pre recorded audio tour that drops off and picks up according to no schedule. Good luck.

Headout Sightseeing Bus A DISASTER - This service is absolutely terrible and non-existent. We waited over an hour at the specific Santa Monica stop which should have seen two separate buses which never turned up. Instead, we got to waste our morning trying to get support from Headout. Their AI chat bot did not work, did not escalate to a real person and went around in circles, their phone number was not available and the final insult was their email address which also does not work and has not been received so I still have not been able to get any sort of response from Headout. I tried every single avenue and was charged over $220 for absolutely no service or support. I should charge them for the precious limited time I’ve wasted waiting for my service and trying to contact Headout sightseeing bus. I would not recommend this service, instead we had to pay again for a real tour bus company’s service. If only Headout reached out to resolve the matter.
