Bosphorus Boat Tour

Great views - This boat was spacious enough to walk around. The views were spectacular. The staff great. I really enjoyed it. The people were very friendly.

Economical cruise option - The starting point of the cruise was close to Dolmabache palace entrance. It was not the full cruise of the Bosphorus as other companies were providing but the schedule of this cruise worked with our day planning. This cruise will not take you towards Blue Mosque & Big Horn. The refreshments onboard were over priced.

Cruising - A good 90mins round the Bosphorus river. We enjoyed the view especially on a nice weather like today.

A longer that advertised trip that is great value for money. - Saw what all the banks of the Bosphorous had to offer plus what was sailing on it. ALoads of very smart former pallaces The trip lasted a fair bit longer than advertised. If youve got a Viator ticket you go to a man outside the kiosk ....he gives you a paper ticket and you by-pass the queue waiting to pay. Theres a huge open deck if the weather is good and very informal seating arrangements ...so basically grab a wooden chair and sit whereever you want. Brilliant value for money . Could do with a more disciplined louder commentary which seemed to come on at random.

Good tour - Was a good tour with good information about the sites we were going past. Would recommend as it is very good for the value of money. One thing I think they can improve on is giving more information about the sites we are passing.

Did not learn much about Istanbul. - It was very difficult to find the location of the boat and when I texted customer service, I got no response. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful homes that are in the mountains on both sides of the Bosporus however we did not think that this cruise was worth the money or the time. The guide information was pre recorded and only gave information about a handful of buildings. Most of the time there was silence and we were just very slowly cruising down the river with no idea of what we were seeing.

Do not use Viator - PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH VIATOR. They are dishonest. When I told them about the error they/the local tour operator had made; that they took 5 more hours than planned, dropped us off at a totally different location and failed to drop us back to the mainland, they refused to provide a refund and instead suggested that we got on the wrong boat when if fact, the local operator confirmed it was our boat when we queued to get on".

Catastrophic - We had pre-booked a sunset cruise on our first day at 6 p.m. We had organized our day around this.
No indication of the address of the meeting point, no one responded to the emergency number given in the email.
A former employee finally responded to us after a long time via WhatsApp that he no longer worked for this company but kindly gave us the address.
Arriving as best we could at the pier at 6 p.m. we learned from a neighboring company who called our company that the cruise was canceled “come back tomorrow”. We had not even been warned and no apology or explanation. Result a waste of money, energy but above all time!!!
RUN AWAY !!!
