- Ortakoy Mosque - Büyük Mecidiye Mosque or Ortaköy Mosque is a Neobaroque style mosque located on the coast in the Ortaköy district of Beşiktaş district, on the Bosphorus in Istanbul. The mosque was built by Sultan Abdülmecid in 1853 by architect Nigoğos Balyan of Armenian origin.
