Value for money - Great trip. Guide very knowledgeable and driver very friendly. Weather was against us so we were unable to use the ferry. All in all lovely trip.

Too long and a bit boring - The guide was good, yet the trip was way too long with almost half the trip spent on the bus to get from one place to another. The time spent in the places we visited was too short compared to the trip duration.

OK trip - Overall trip was good but we stopped at a marketplace that was not relevant to the city and basically its a shop that the agency take commissions from… next time please stop at a authentic bazaar of Bursa. Also, mention in your program what we have to pay for because a lot of us were taken by surprise when there was a cable ride that we had to pay for

Too many stops at shops, too long a trip - The trip was very disappointing, we were on the coach and ferry and in 5 hours the only stops we made were to a Turkish Delight Shop, a jam shop and to see an ancient tree. The shops were not on the internary when we booked, if I wanted to go shopping I would go to the baazar. The lunch was very poor, they took our drinks away before we had finished and the food was poor quality. The stops at the destinations were too long, culminating in a 13 hour day. The guide is informative but information overload, the brain switches off.

Keep your hands off it - So I had booked the Bursa day tour. In advance we had Dogan as a guide and we were 15 people in total. Cool group but bad tour and even worse guide. Don’t understand how this can be rated so well on Google and Tripadvisor, probably purchased fake reviews. Several problems: Guide can speak a little English, but you hardly understand him. In addition, he only briefly tells again and again what but had no attachment to the group. It seemed like he was doing the job just for the money, but being a guide is much more. Besides, his wording is very bad and also curses a lot in Turkish, which only I understood as I was the only Turkish tourist. In addition, we all thought that we were in Bursa for several hours and could explore the city or imagine the city with the most important sights. In advance we were all disappointed with the tour. Instead, we were unloaded and had just under an hour. To get to the city center it took already 17 minutes and the way back. There were no ways to get us at least in the city center. Instead, we left at 7:30 and picked everyone up from the hotel. That went until 10:30 until we started the tour. We were only in Bursa at 17:45 and went back at 18:45. We lost so much time: First we took the ferry across the sea to Yalova to shorten the way. Until now everything was fine, as the 30 minute drive in the morning was quite nice. Arrived in Yalova we were dropped off in the forest for three quarters of an hour to drive a kart through the forest to the top of the mountain for 30 euros. This was not mentioned in the description of the plan and only one accepted the offer and the latter was disappointed in the end because he was not aware of how expensive it is and because it was simply trashed upstairs and the view was not very nice either. We all thought, what are we doing here? Afterwards we were led to an overpriced Turkish Delightshop, which was also not in the tour planning. Here we were for half an hour and you could only get the confectionery in large packages. You can get these goods anywhere and much cheaper. They just wanted to pull the money out of our pockets. There were also points like the Uludag and the 610-year-old tree where you could drink good tea but afterwards came another shop where we were turned up Marmalde. Lost another 20 minutes. Lunch was ok and included in the price. The price is the only reason why the tour gets at least one star. In the end, I decided to take 4 people with me and at least show them something about the city in a quick run, as I said I was the only Turk and did my research before. I want my money back and I will never book here again. It was the worst tour of my life. Tell the tour guide to find another job, please. He was cheeky, disrespectful and wanted to leave us alone in Bursa because we were 5 minutes late. In addition, on the return trip as everyone should be dropped off, he simply got off himself and left the bus driver who does not speak English. What's he thinking. I'm angry because through people like him, my country has a bad reputation. He should be ashamed of himself. By doing my own tour at the end, I could at least see the most important thing for myself. The other part of the group who did not explore the city with me had simply wasted a day of your vacation. The group was cool and we made the most of it. We were often close to addressing the guide that he should skip anything unnecessary. We should have done that.

Bursa trip feedback - We went on a Bursa day trip with this company on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Overall, I wouldn't say it was the best tour I've ever been on. The positives were that the price was very affordable and included pick-up, drop-off, all transportation, lunch with a soft drink, cable car, and a guide. This made the trip easy for us as everything was provided, and we didn't need to navigate or research. However, it's important to note that there were many optional activities and shopping opportunities (such as Turkish delight and jam shops) that required extra payment. Many of these options require cash, so it's essential to bring some with you. For example, they charged TRY 200 for using cards for payment for Quad bike photos. On the downside, the time organisation could have been better. The trip lasted about 13 hours (we were picked up around 8:45 am and dropped off around 10:40 pm), and lunch was quite late, around 4 pm, leaving us very hungry. Additionally, there was no time allocated for dinner. An area for improvement could be the selection of destinations. One of the options was a chairlift, which seemed unnecessary in spring when the weather wasn't suitable for skiing. They could consider removing or changing this stop based on the season. The last stop was a silk market and an Ottoman house. However, they weren't famous or UNESCO-registered as advertised. Instead, they were simply named shops. We had hoped to see these famous attractions in Bursa, but we were disappointed. The tour description was misleading, and phrases like 'the formal Ottoman capital' and 'take a walk through the Old Silk Market' need to be changed to accurately reflect the experience.

SCAM Do not go by the description! - This tour is a SCAM and not the one advertised. Rather than featuring the city of Bursa it was an afterthought bolted on after the tour took you to loads of places in an attempt to get you to part with your money! In a long day of around 13 hours, only an hour or so was around the advertised attractions! I raised with guide/tour company and Viator and they seem to ignore the challenge!
