Appreciation for all those lives lost - Although it was an early start and a long day 4 hours travel each way to the Gallipoli area it was well worth it our guide Ibo was full of knowledge and very helpful in providing excellent information and insight for both sides. Really enjoyed the tour and glad we got to visit and pay respect to the thousands that gave their young lives

Fascinating and moving. One leaves with a feeling of huge loss on both sides; but with no animosity left on either. - Really interesting and moving exploration of what have been a hellish place for both armies. Our guide (Burak) was incredibly well versed with details of different groups of soldiers from the many countries that made up the Allied forces. Burak was informative, witty, and interesting. My only slight disappointment was that the tour did not include the landing points and battlefields of the British, Irish and Indian troops that fought in the southwestern-most part of the peninsular (including my own grandfather), which I'd like to have known before going. This tour focuses on the ANZAC beaches exclusively.

Galipoli from Istanbul - We enjoyed this tour immensely. Our guide Hasan was brimming with detailed information about the Gallipoli theatre. He spoke well and shared photos and maps of the battlefield from 1915. We had a good amount of time at each site. On a one day tour from Istanbul there is a limit to the time for each stop of course but the tour was not rushed. Lunch was quite good and we had plenty of stops for toilet or drinks. We were a small group of 7, Aussies, Kiwi's and a Canadian. The vehicle was comfortable despite the long drive.

Worth it! - Super informative and well organised. It is a long day but gives a great insight into the events on the peninsula. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge and provided such a descriptive look into each battle.

Gallipoli Tour with Crowded House - We had a wonderful tour to Gallipoli with Crowded house tours, we were kept fully informed of the time we would be picked up, the bus arrived as expected at 6:30am at our hotel, and after picking up a few more people we were on our way, the Sprinter while a bit crowded was comfortable. After two hours we stopped at a service station with nice clean toilets and lots of breakfast food, hot and cold and snacks, all at a very good price, after half an hour we were on our way, for another two hours. We then stopped at the town of Eceabat for lunch, there were a number of other travelers there, some going over to Troy which was part of a two day tour, which would be good. We had lunch at a small resturant which was fine, and ample. We didn’t go for the food. We then got onto a smaller bus, and met our guide ( Borak ) we had fifteen people some Aussies and some Kiwis. Our guide from Canakkale, has us laughing from his first word, without loosing respect for the location. For the next four hours he took us to all the major sites, from the landing to the summit to the departure. Showing us many things we had not see on our previous visit in 2011. He asked everyone if they had a special grave they would like to visit. My wife lost a great uncle, whose only memorial is his name at Lone Pine. Borak looked it up and was able to take us straight to it, when we arrived at Lone Pine, something we really appreciated. Our whole experience at Gallipoli was everything we could ask for. After four hours we returned to Eceabat, and onto the Sprinter for our trip home. Stopping for half an hour back at the same service station, which is a great choice. A good place to purchase enough food to keep us satisfied. After a bit of a torturous drive around Istanbul we arrived at the the door of our hotel, about 9:30 pm. Very tired but a wonderful day we would certainly recommend to anyone wishing to visit Gallipoli, Thankyou very much Crowded House and Borak you made our visit very special.

A memorable experience - Hasan our guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. His commitment to sharing factual information was evident and appreciated. I enjoyed learning new facts about this historical event and discovered a new appreciation for our ANZACS. So very special! This tour was ran so smoothly like clockwork, all drivers and guides were so friendly and fun to share the day with. You will not regret booking this tour. It was a long journey and drive but so well worth it. If you can stay closer to the Peninsula I would highly recommend doing so. The food at the restaurant was average, but we had a stop at the gas station on the way there and back so had the opportunity to get snacks and drinks and a meal if needed. Staff at the restaurant were so friendly it was just the hot chips that weren’t nice, I personally would prefer all Turkish cuisine. The chicken and koftes were nice.

Great (and long) day - Big day but worth it to see and learn more about the Gallipoli campaign. Our guide Hassan was amazing and made the info relevant. The lunch at the restaurant was yummy but perhaps this stop could be shortened - it’s a massive feed, so don’t fill up on food too much at the mid way bus stop. At the mid way bus stop there is a lady who makes Gozleme which is delicious!!! Overall it’s a very big and full on day but worth it - only criticism is that our drive back to Istanbul was terrifying and dangerous by a new driver that we were given.

Moving day and well worth the time - Once our guide got on board, the trip was fantastic. Hassan is extremely knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the history of this special place. Good amount of time at each place and the walk along the beach was much appreciated. While I realise the driver is not a guide, it would have been nice to at least welcome us all on board, with a quick round of introductions and a summary of the day ahead, such as times for stops etc. Especially as a solo traveller it would have been good.
