Participants will sit at the loom and, with our expert guidance, transform vibrant threads into their very own Turkish carpet. Many arrive saying, “I have no skills,” and leave exclaiming, “Did I really make this?!” The joy on their faces (and sometimes their children’s too!) is the reason we are passionate about what we do.

We maintain small group sizes to ensure everyone receives personal attention, and in between weaving, you’ll hear entertaining stories about Istanbul, Turkish culture, and the history of these carpets. The atmosphere is always welcoming and relaxed, with tea, instant coffee, perhaps too many snacks, and plenty of laughter. By the end, you won’t just have a handmade souvenir; you’ll have a cherished memory that will outlast any bazaar purchase.
