Kathmandu to Chitwan Transfer
Chitwan National Park - Early in the morning (6am), you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the bus station for the journey to Chitwan. Kathmandu to Chitwan Transfer
Chitwan National Park - Early in the morning (6am), you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the bus station for the journey to Chitwan. (The tour can start either from Kathmandu - a 5-hour drive, or Pokhara - a 4-hour drive). Upon reaching Chitwan, you will be escorted from the bus station to your lodge where a delicious lunch will be served. After lunch, you will join the Tharu Village Tour to gain more insight into the daily lives of the locals. Later, enjoy a beautiful sunset at the nearby Sunset View-point. In the evening, enjoy a cultural program featuring the ‘Tharu Stick Dance’ performed by the local Tharu community, followed by dinner at the lodge’s restaurant.
Chitwan District - Chitwan is renowned for jungle safaris in Chitwan National Park.
Sauraha - Sauraha is the tourist hub in Chitwan, offering many hotels, lodges, and restaurants.
Bharatpur - Bharatpur has a domestic airport from where Sauraha Chitwan can be reached within 30 minutes.
Canoe Ride and Full day Jungle Walk
Chitwan National Park - At dawn, meet your nature guide and start with a full canoe ride followed by a full day of jungle walking deep into the forest. During these walks, there is a higher chance of spotting wildlife, including rhinos in their natural habitat. You will have your packed lunch during the walk, and in the evening, return to your hotel.
Full day Jeep Drive
Chitwan National Park - After breakfast, embark on an exhilarating full-day jeep drive deep into the jungle for more wildlife sightings, such as monkeys, one-horned rhinos, deer, wild boars, and possibly even a tiger if you’re lucky. Lunch (packed) will be inside the jungle during a break. Later in the afternoon, drive back to your hotel.
Chitwan to Kathmandu Travel Day
Chitwan National Park - After breakfast in the morning, you will be transferred to the bus station for the drive back to Kathmandu/Pokhara at 9am. In Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel.

The safari journey takes place at Chitwan National Park, a South Asian wildlife reserve of remarkable stature and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park is situated in the ‘Terai’ lowlands of Nepal, a home to 50 different types of plants and 700 wild fauna species. The itinerary includes two full days of exploring the jungle by foot and jeep to track the deep forest wildlife. A visit to the Tharu village to experience their local culture during a cultural program is also included.

- For clothing, neutral colored clothing is recommended. Light clothing is needed for day time with a sweater and warm jacket for the evenings from November to March. Comfortable walking shoes, sun hat, sunglasses etc. are essential. Insect repellent and personal medical requirements should be carried. During the warmer months swimming suits are recommended
