• Big Bear Lake - Join a local nature guide for a winter hike through the national forest in Big Bear Valley! Depending on the snow conditions, we’ll either hike or snowshoe through a stunning forest of oak and pine trees. Most of my guided snowshoe hikes lead to a secret viewpoint of Big Bear Lake.

Snowshoe rentals are not included, but you can rent them affordably at Blauers or Goldsmith’s in Big Bear Valley (typically under $30). I also offer snowshoe rentals for groups of up to 3 people. Contact me for rental inquiries.

Local businesses also provide snowshoe rentals for kids! Some of my snowshoe hikes are suitable for children as young as 8 (or younger, depending on their energy levels!). For children under 8, private group tours are available.

Come walk with me in the snow in Big Bear Lake’s winter wonderland. Snowshoe tours are available from December through March. This is Big Bear Lakes’ only snowshoe tour with a professional hiking guide. I have over 20 years of experience snowshoeing all the best trails in Big Bear Lake. When you book, kindly let me know if you would like to do an easy or moderate snowshoe hike. I have many different trails to choose from that are perfect for guests of all ages. Even when it seems like there is no snow anywhere in the Big Bear Valley, as a Big Bear local I always know where there are snowy trails for snow hiking or snowshoeing.
