I will meet guests across the street from the Oak Knoll Lodge at the intersection of Mill Creek Road and Tulip. I will be in a grey Jeep SUV. Guests can follow me from here a short driving distance to where they will park. Guests can hop in my car from there for the forest tour.

bachelorette party Paddleboard outing! - We had a bachelorette outing for my daughter at Captain John Fawns Harbor! Amber provided a picnic with decorations to go with our theme. She arrived early, stayed until we were done, and took pictures of us! Also, she texted me and helped me with all the details during the planning process. Being from Nebraska, I didn’t know where anything was. She made excellent suggestions and helped make our outing as perfect as possible! Amber goes above and beyond to provide a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it!! We loved all our salads; the cookies and peach cobbler muffins were to die for! We even got a little bonus of organic apples straight from her tree! Thank you, Amber, for such a great experience!

Best Picnic EVER!! - The pop up picnic experience was a dream come true!! Amber was an incredible mountain guide and chef. She knew all about the mountain flora and fauna and curated the most beautiful picnic experience of all time! My kids had the best day ever climbing boulders and exploring a creek! This is a Big Bear must experience!

Perfect! - It would be difficult to imagine a more perfect way to spend the morning in this area. Amber is an amazing tour guide and teacher about the history of this beautiful part of the state. She is very conscientious and takes the time to plan each experience around the wishes, needs, and preferences of her clientele. Don’t miss the chance to do this!

Pop-Up Picnic by Amber - Amber was very friendly and knew a lot about Big Bear Lake. Took us on a pretty tour of Big Bear. She set up a nice romantic picnic for my husband and myself. The picnic had a beautiful view of the lake and it was a peaceful setting. We enjoyed the food. We would highly recommend this trip

Fun Mtn Jeep Excursion w/ Yummy Picnic! - We had so much fun with Amber. Amber lives in the area, so she knew a lot of the history of the locations we traveled, as well as the local lore. Unlike a big corporate jeep tour, we were treated like family! It was great. We asked for customized picnic fare, for a small added fee. We received homemade everything….. EVEN HOMEMADE BREAD!!!!! Amber made the bread the night before, so it had time to rest before she made our delicious chicken salad with cranberry sandwiches. She also made a beautiful charcuterie board with cheese, salami, and grapes. She really went all out, and gave us a surprise gift at the end of our trek…..making our celebratory excursion that much more memorable. Thank you, Amber! We look forward to taking another tour with Amber next year!

Amber was the Best!! - Amber was amazing! She had a lot of knowledge of Big Bear and the picnic experience was awesome she tailored her menu to my husband being vegetarian and it was a wonderful lunch and her homemade muffins were the bomb!! Thanks Amber for making this experience great for us.

Amazing vegetarian and vegan options. - We book this experience with Amber as we are vegetarians and vegan in our family and Big Bear really has not great food options. If you have dietary restrictions. Amber's menu of gourmet salads and gluten-free muffins for absolutely delicious. We were also so thrilled that she took us to a spot where there was snow or our dog to run as we have the picnic. This winter. There's been absolutely no snow anywhere in Big Bear and it was such a lovely surprise. The area was just unbelievably beautiful as well. After going or such a great experience, we also decided to book her snow play experience the next day of our vacation. We absolutely loved that our dogs could run off leash on all of her experiences and it gave them such a great time.
