Amber is a knowledgeable, friendly guide and hiking companion. - My wife and I, both seniors in our 70s and 80s, spent a very happy and inspiring hour and a half on a hike in the woods near Big Bear Lake guided by Amber, a font of knowledge and enthusiasm for the location's history, geography, flora and fauna and seasonal changes. Our conversation and her many stories and anecdotes made our short time together memorable, fascinating, and quite convivial. Being out in the woods was grand. The hike itself was just right for us, but under Amber's direction it could have been tailored to be more challenging for younger, more athletic people as well. We warmly recommend Amber as a knowledgeable, friendly guide and hiking companion.

A Delightful Hike - Amber is quite knowledgeable of plants, flora, etc. She was an excellent guide; helpful in every way. She also does jeep tours off-road, and we plan to do that upon returning to the area.

Great experience - This was a perfect easy morning hike on our first full day in Big Bear. I am a very slow hiker and my family member wanted to stop and take lots of pictures. Amber was patient, attentive to our particular hiking pace, and very informative of what we were seeing. I definitely recommend this family friendly hike!

Super Fun Hike for the Whole Family! - Amber’s hike took us straight into the wooded forest! Amber made stops along the way to point out different types of trees, really cool seasonal flowers and streams, a formation of climbing rocks as tall as a 3-story building, and wide expanses of the Big Bear Lake below. Amber even stopped us at some beautiful lookout points to take in the beauty, listen to the forest, and take our pictures. We had sooooo much fun on this excursion!
