2 fay's ticket value for money - This hop on hop off company is one of our favourites. We bought a 2 days tickets from a steer seller and we have to say that the information provided were to the point and helped us to enjoy the very best of the city and suburbs The bus stop was just 3 minutes away from our hotel at Monastiraki area. Avoid the really crowded days with Cruiships .

View of Athens - This is a good way to get around the city of Athens as it is a very crowded city with lots of congestion. This was a stop on a cruise around Greece and the timing between the buses and the ship could have been better. You had to take the bus to the Acropolis to get on a different bus going to the cruise ship port so keeping an eye on the time is crucial so you don't miss the boat.

Good tour - Great way to get acquainted with the City. Good commentary and efficiently run, plenty of stops at the main sites. We actually did the bus tour twice on either side of our cruise.

No roof preventing from sun. 2 lines run every 1 hour and 30/50 minutes - The price for being able to take the bus for over 3 days was very convenient. While taking the Athens Route we had a great time, we had a bus with roof preventing us from the direct sun. We were able to seat and the top level and enjoy the view. While taking the Rivera Route we had an open bus, wit no roof. The ride was almost for 2 hours. Great route with beautiful views. It was too hot to seat on the top floor so most people were staying on the lower level with AC that did not cool the bus. I could hear people complaint about the heat. Because people could not stay for 2 hours being exposed to direct sun everyone was squeezing on the lover level. There was not enough seats for everyone. The people who were standing were blocking view for others. Could not wait for the ride to end. I recommend not to pay for a bus in advance. Just to wait and see which Red Citi Sightseeing bus comes with a roof above the upper level and buy ticket from the driver. The Red Citi Sightseeing busses run more often than Big Busses.

Not the best bus tour - Would not do again. Headphone jacks not working. Not well air conditioned. No shade on top level. Just not a very pleasant experience.

Waste of money - The audio first didn’t work and was out of sync so we often went past a historical site before we knew what it was about. Most of the time was sitting in traffic, which was unpleasant in the heat. The audio narrative was episodic with mostly Greek music playing and not more information other than what you could have read on a map of Athens. Really overpriced. Seats and floors not clean

Not Reliable - We waited over 2 hours for a bus and finally got so frustrated we called for a cab. We were on the Rivera Run. We called in to trace the bus several times and we're told it would be there in 10 or 15 minutes. On the 3rd call they told us the didn't know where the bus was. Air conditioning on lower section didn't work.

Bad experience - The organization a mess. Very poorly explained schedules and are not met. In our case 2 times we had to stop the bus to finish our tour and the driver reluctantly claimed that we were out of the schedule, when in the pamphlet they give you said that the last one was an hour later. I wouldn't advise it or repeat it again.
