Excellent Adventure - EXCELLENT TOUR I LOVED seeing Prague's historical sights and learning its history. Being able to Hop On and Hop Off at the sites I wanted to explore was wonderful. Make sure you check the schedule as some stops end pick-up VERY EARLY. The River Cruise was FANTASTIC, VERY IMPRESSED with the food aboard ship. The ice cream sundae is a MUST TRY!!!!

Keep your expectations low - Audio track did not always match up with location. Difficult to take good pics due to the bars on the top of the bus on the green line. Great views on the red line in the double decker bus. Still the best way to see the entire city!

Mixed Experience with Highlights and Lows - While I think giving this tour just one star would be overly harsh, I can understand why some might rate it two. My experience started on the Red route from the Hilton, and after reading some awful reviews, I decided to take the earliest bus to avoid traffic. This strategy worked, as the ride flowed smoothly for most of the route, which was better than in many other cities. The driver and ticket salesman were friendly, and though the upstairs seats were wet, I was kindly allowed to sit in the guide’s seat at the front of the lower deck for a better view. However, things took a downturn when I switched to the Green route. Despite being told the next bus would arrive in 10 minutes, I ended up waiting for at least 25 minutes. The smaller bus was more suited to the city’s narrow streets, but the cobblestones made the ride bumpy, and the heavy traffic slowed us down. I eventually abandoned the tour as it was too uncomfortable and difficult to see the sights. The walking tours are a much better option for exploring the city center. The river cruise, which I added to my ticket, was a redeeming part of the experience. It was a bit tricky to find since I didn’t take the bus to the dock, but once there, boarding was easy, and the drinks arrived quickly. The cruise itself, passing under Charles Bridge and back, was leisurely and enjoyable, though be prepared for a lot of wasps. This part of the tour earned it an extra star from me.

Prague bus tour - The audio is not properly synchronised so many times it does not match the location. Also the river cruise was cancelled due to weather conditions but I was not given a refund or any other choices or options. I hope Viator gives me a refund of the river cruise

Underwhelmed - The bus tour was the worst I have taken. The hard plastic seats were uncomfortable and the eye-level window frames blocked our view. It was very hot and the AC fan blew toward the front. The prerecorded taped tour information didn't correspond to the sites. The bus driver drove past them so fast we couldn't identify them quickly enough. We would not recommend this tour to one who wants to get a nice experience of Prague.

Buyer beware! Stay away from this line. - Terrible hop on hop off bus. They take a 5 minute break at every stop. They are always running behind. The people working on the bus are not friendly. The boat cruise was awesome once we finally got on it. After waiting on it for 30 minutes, they tell us the boat broke. They turned most people away until the next day. Finally after 35 more minutes we were able to get on the boat. It is a very inefficient way to see Prague. The map they provide is also horrible. You can’t see street names to find stops and the stops are poorly marked. So buyer beware.

Bad Bartender on the Prague boat cruise. - The bartender at Classic Rivers (3pm tour on Sep 4th, 2024) was incredibly rude when we simply asked for a glass of ice for our drinks. His attitude was disrespectful and lacking in customer service. It's disappointing that they have employees like this working on Big Bus Tours. They should work on improving the service they provide to their customers.

Bad bartender service on the boat tour. - The boat ride bartender service was awful (unlike our waitress)… At the boat tour in prague, I asked for Ice, they provided one tiny glass, for 3 drinks (2 alcoholics) and asked for more, was told only could give me another one as they didn’t have more. I could hear they did have more ice.

Worst Sightseeing Bus Tour - Big bus tour was a waste of time and money. Horrible experience. They are very unprofessional. The audio is very poor and does not syncs with the place plus gets cut off . When we told the lady on the bus , she just said well I can’t do anything about it. When they stop they do not even tell you which direction the places to visit are, they are least interested to speak or help you with any of your queries. Had taken a 48 hr pass with boat cruise and on both days experienced the same . They just drop you at a radom spot n off , you figure out from there and how to come back to take the next bus. Like at the Prague Castle , most people get out from the old castle steps , so put a stop there to pick up people , but no you have to walk to d next stop . We took a tram and went back to where we got off. The last stop on the red line was the worst. The bus just stops in the middle of two heavy traffic roads where you can’t cross, nothing mentioned on the sights to visit around. We googled and tried to see the sight seeing spots n just could not find any of them as mentioned on thier map. So just stood there for 30 mins till the next bus picked us up. The next day took the green line and was a similar issue . The boy on the bus was not helpful again . Used the big bus in Ireland, Budapest, Amsterdam and never had such an aweful experience. It’s sad as you are service providers for tourist espically in places like this where almost everything is not in English. We take the tour so it’s easier for us to get around and see places and if you can’t help us out it’s useless and waste of our time and our money.

Big Bus Fail - I have taken many tours on Big Bus and have rarely had a complaint. Last Wednesday I had a couple of hours between train rides and decided to do a hop on hop off tour. I got on the red bus at stop 3 and continued around the city. Not the best tour I have been on but it was informative, I exited the bus at the train station so I could catch the green route, The bus was nearly 40 minutes late. The driver and host chatted together and the ride was terrible (reckless). At one point the driver and host exited the bus with no explanation and we sat for 20 minutes until another bus arrived and informed us to change busses. communication was terrible. The traffic was crowded and backed up and difficult to negotiate. I finally had enough and exited the bus to walk back. Stay away from this tour.
