Aussie Review with Ronald - Very good tour and Ronald is a great guide. He's funny, factual and a nice guy. He loves LA and points out things you wouldn't normally look for. Thanks Ronald. ( just needs to be a little longer to enjoy the observatory a bit more) .

Low stress sightseeing - Great way to see lots of different parts of the area without having to deal with traffic and parking. Only downside was waiting for the busses. It would be nice if they were every 15 minutes instead. Had some wasted time when the bus that came went out of service for a break, but it was a good experience overall

Good way to get around - A great way to see Beverley hills, rodeo drive, West Hollywood, Farmers market (best shawarma) etc. The bus comes every 40 minutes so there can be a bit of time spent waiting for the bus. Also some of the buses have a covered area on the top deck which is great on hot days, but not all have that. Best to purchase the 2 days including the celebrity homes as the celebrity homes tour with Rodney was the highlight.

Fine not great - Although the sites were good on the route bus times were not accurate, there is no sign anywhere to indicate where to get the bus, and no staff either. The only staff person we encountered was at the blue to red stop. The first day there was a street festival on Hollywood and no notice in the app if a change in stops so we waited 45 minutes before walking 8 blocks to the main center only to be told “oh yeah we moved the stop” but didn’t put notice on the app! Would likely not do this company again.

Difficult to link with Santa Monica loop - Commentary on the bus was very informative and staff were helpful however it was difficult to link with the Santa Monica loop and therefore you would only have between 11 am and 3.15pm on the Hoo Llywood loop. The buses could have run for longer during the day

Rude after they have your money - The tour itself is fine. The bus is comfortable and it beats driving around to all these stops. A few isses to be considered. 1) Last bus loop begins at 4:30. The busses run regularly but not all that frequently. The whole loop around L.A. takes about 2 hours. This does not allow for many hop-offs. 2)Once you have paid the super-nice salesperson, the staff stops being nice and customer oriented. Very abrupt and rude interactions. I used the same company for hop-on hop-off touring in San Francisco. Experience was almost exactly the same. I will never use this company for touring again.

The worst experience for hop on hop off - I highly don’t recommend. We were waiting about 1.5 hours at the bus stop and nobody from the stuff didn’t know when will be the next bus. Don’t worth any money!!!

With No Live Tour Guides, Less Stops and Poorly Marked Bus Stops, Big Bus Tours Has Lost Its Value - We’d previously used Big Bus tours on previous trips to L.A. This year we took my 9 year old daughter to L.A. for our family vacation and were so excited for her to experience our favorite city. One of the primary reasons we chose to purchase a two day bus pass for all three of us was the amazing experience we’d previously had, with friendly and informative tour guides, along with a route that took us up many important places around the city. This trip on Big Bus tours was much different and completely lost its value due to a reduced route on the blue line and there no longer being live tour guides, the latter being the bigger disappointment. The tours replaced the live tour guides with pre-recorder hosts, that are not only often announcing sites too early or too late to register what you’re seeing. The value of Big Bus Tours we’d previously experienced was completely lost and my daughter missed much of the sites on the tour due to the elimination of live guides. On top of this, the bus stops were poorly marked, in the app and supporting pamphlets. We were in Santa Monica, saw the bus coming, then turn and missed the bus because the bus stop changed. This resulted in a very expensive Uber ride, on top of what we’d already paid for a two day Big Bus pass. We are incredibly disappointed.

Save Your Money And Avoid This Tour - We bought tickets after having a positive experience with big bus tours in San Francisco. However Busses came infrequently and the first stop required a 30 minute delay (not listed in “schedule”) when hopping on from another stop meaning the blue route shuttle was missed and as a result the second half of the ticket was unable to utilised. Audio was not working properly for tour element. Stops are not close to any of the “attractions”. Bus driver was too busy on the phone to a friend talking about basketball. Overall very unprofessional and poor experience
