All charters leave from Honokohau Harbor. Reel Escapes Hawaii is located on the middle pier at slip J-15. When you drive into the harbor, stay to the left on the road (South side). Follow past the fenced-in BFI garbage bins, past the bathrooms, and then turn after the building with the red roof.

Quiet at first but great finish! - William and Wes were a top-notch crew…
Both share a love and respect for fishing these beautiful, bountiful waters and it had a positive effect on our parties hopes to catch a nice fish.
It took a few hours but William found a pair of beautiful spearfish. We only landed one but that was still worth the time and money…
Next time out we will book an 8-hour excursion which will allow the Captain more time to pivot to a more productive fishing spot.
All-in-all this was a blast-topped by the mango-lime marinated grilled Hebi (two minutes per side max!).

Best trip ever! - Captain William and Rooster were amazing! They explained everything in detail and were there to coach us the entire way! I felt so comfortable with their expertise. Next year, we are planning to do it again. Thank you for making our adventure so special!

Fishing Charter - Wow, I can’t say enough about Reel Escapes Fishing Charter. The owner Brent, Captain William, and first mate Rooster were the best. It was so easy to schedule my charter through Brent and fishing with Captain William and Rooster was awesome. They were so good at providing instructions and educating me about the fishery and area. I would recommend Reel Escapes to anyone.. Wonderful time!!

An experience of a lifetime - I definitely recommend this. I had a phenomenal time and they took care of us. If you go with these guys you’ll 100% catch something. Thanks and I’ll for sure go again. No one better if you’re looking for something.

One off the bucket list! - Great time! Captain Brent and his deckhand were great! We caught a Bluefin Marlin and a rare Shortbill. Checked this off our bucket list! Highly recommend!

Brent and William were so... - Brent and William were so nice! Brent explained a lot to us about fishing, tides, etc. The lures were the biggest I’ve ever seen. Fishing on Hawaii was a bucket list item for us and it was amazing!!! The day was beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely go again with them if we are blessed enough to come back ❤️

We will be back again! - This had to be the coolest fishing trip anyone could have made! Worth every penny and then some. Captain Brent and Rooster were on point making us feel comfortable with everything. And everyone was stoked with the giant marlin that we caught. Then a couple of Mahi Mahi to sweeten the day! Thanks for the best day out of the whole vacation!!

Experience of a lifetime! - I couldn't be happier with my choice of this fishing charter! The crew's knowledge and hard work truly stood out - they're easily the best I've encountered, and I've been on numerous charters. Our day was fantastic, filled with plentiful catches and unforgettable moments for the whole family. I'll definitely be booking with them again when I return to the island, and I'll be sure to recommend them to all my friends visiting Hawaii!

BEST EXCURSION IN HAWAII - Had the most amazing time on the boat the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.Went out with some friends and caught the biggest fish of my life! saw dolphins and whales highlight of the trip by far!!

Hooking that 800 pound... - Hooking that 800 pound Blue Marlin ... the one that got away. Captain William and Rooster were highly skilled and knowledgeable about the local wildlife beyond their huge expertise with fishing. Great day and I will do it again next time I am in Kona.
