Coffee and Chocolate Nirvana! - Aloha! My wife and I just spent an awesome morning of learning, tasting and purchasing chocolate, coffees and soaps. Greg the owner and Christina were fantastic presenters, and Greg’s team was very friendly and helpful. Greg explains how the farm began and how they make their labor of love so synergistic with the terroir of the Kona coffee growing region. He leverages this ecosystem with local plants and animals working together. I give the event a 10 out of 10 and theirs is absolutely the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. I was very unsure about the soap and oils but became a convert by using them! I Highly recommend going on this coffee and chocolate tour. Dan

Information, healthy , kind, caring, loving the chocolates and healthy soaps and scents and choc.& hat as gift. - Great knowledge shared of Hawaiian plants, ecosystem and clean, healthy products for your skin, unlike the products I’ve used that are toxic and caused health issues. Very informative. International Award winning winning chocolates. My favorite ever! And, I’m a snob who only eats certain European chocolates- some French and some Belgian. American chocolates are horrible with very few exceptions. There chocolates are fantastic. Of course I chose the dark chocolate bars and my granddaughter snagged a couple of milk chocolates as her favorite. I’ve had constant inflammation in my chest area, proven by PET/CT scans - and especially after surgery- and I’ve taken home the Lavender ease oil spray for that area and to put on the nodes on my neck. They have a lemongrass essential oil to help us that are blood type A folks and get eaten by mosquitoes and are either allergic to something in their bites or blister after bites like my granddaughter. I used the natural soap from the bathroom on some bites at the farm and felt instant relief.

Best excursion of our trip! - This experience was our most unexpectedly enjoyable of all of our planned trip excursions on Kona. We are both like chocolate and coffee, so we thought it would be a fun little jaunt through a small plantation, but it was so much more! Our guide was very interesting, engaging, entertaining, and personable, as were the rest of the farm owners, They are all completely hands-on, knowledgeable, and personally invested in the farm, their products, and committed to what they are doing with their work. The tasting event was marvelous, as well as educational. And then we were able to buy the authentic (Kona coffee) and chocolate at very reasonable prices in their gift shop. Highly recommend this tour to everyone!

A chocolate and coffee education! - The tour was superb, Christine was a wonderful guide , friendly and funny. The chickens were an entertaining background choir. So interesting learning about growing the cacao pods and coffee beans and the other useful medical and edible plants. The soap making process was a really interesting bonus- as someone with eczema prone skin - I’m looking forward to trying your soap when I get home to NZ. Highly recommend!

Great times ahead - I have to say that the day we were going to do this we were not sure that we booked the right tour but as soon as we got there while still in our car and met Greg we knew it was going to be a good tour and 3 hours later we were more than happy that we booked this tour, it was hands down one of the best tours we have been a part of, it was fun and we learned so much about coffee, chocolate and soap. By the end of the tour we were so happy we came, I’m not going to spoil it by telling you anything about the tour but the whole crew they have is amazing. We definitely will go again if we are ever back on the big island.

In-Depth Insight into the Coffee and Chocolate Industries - This is no brief overview but a detailed three-hour tour (yes, Gilligan, a Three. Hour. Tour. :-). Our guide, Greg (owner of the farm) was very knowledgeable and able to teach about all aspects of the coffee and chocolate industries from botany and history to harvesting, manufacturing and marketing (Thinking of buying 10% Kona coffee? Greg will talk you out of it). Not much walking is required because this farm embraces a biodiverse approach that keeps the coffee and cacao plants in close proximity (and Greg will explain why that's important). The tasting includes not just the finished product but the un-processed cacao as well. Then the tour moves on to natural soap and the benefits of essential oils. We had previously taken a free tour of another Kona coffee farm, and there was nothing wrong with it, but this experience was much more in-depth and well worth its price.
