Nice catamaran with a fun crew on a terrific Hawaiian evening - Beautiful sunset Cruise with Captain Sam and his crew. A great way to see a beautiful sunset on the water. Very nice catamaran -the Sea Smoke. Terrific way to see the coastline from the water.

Nice Sunset on the Water - The catamaran was nice. Good view on the sunset and the resort properties on shore. Also, the mountains in the background, Mauna Kea. The crew members were very friendly. The drinks were OK but you will probably want to make dinner reservations for after the cruise. There's not much in the way of appetizers. But, we didn't go for the food!

Fun in the sunset - Our family of 5 had a great time on the sunset cruise. The crew did a great job-they were friendly and helpful and made sure we had food and drinks and that our questions were answered. Great opportunity to take photos. Lots of space on the boat both inside and outside. We sat at the front. This particular boat was a motorized catamaran so it did not sail. Went south on the Kohala Coast and saw places like Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach from the water. The port/harbor where you load the boat is full of shipping containers and shipping container boats and trucks, so you do need to follow the Ocean Sports person there to find it. Fun boat ride. 2 hours, so perfect length. No swimming on the sunset cruise. It was a beautiful night as it always seems to be on the Big Island.

Intimate wonderful sunset sail - Intimate boat with many fewer people than the other sunset sails we’ve been on. Great friendly team, open bar with good options, cheese/crackers, fresh fruits and veggies. Good trampolines and fun forward seats over the water! Wonderful experience overall!

Fantastic Pau Hana sunset cruise - Had an amazing experience on this cruise! The booking was easy, the greeter gal the captain and crew were outstanding and the cocktails and pupus were perfect! Would highly recommend this company to anyone! Thank you

Amazing Sunset - Captain Sam and crew were amazing and attentive and entertaining. Our daughter’s engagement happened that evening and it made for a wonderful experience. Thanks to the crew for being so attentive.

Good return trip. - We were "returning" customers. This is a very good, well-managed, well-performed and fairly priced experience. The only reason I rate it merely "good" has nothing to do with the operator, but with the whales! While we saw a pod of 3 or 4 males apparently seeking to charm a female, and followed it for a good bit, it was too far away to really see much. But, as I said, that wasn't the operator's fault. The 3 personnel on board did a very good job of serving us snacks and beverages, answering questions folks had, and making sure everyone had a good time. Next time we are on the Big Island, we'll go again!

Anniversary Trip - The trip on the Seasmoke promised to be perfect. Beautiful day, smaller catamaran, really nice crew, good pupu platter. The water/wind was choppy, yet we kept going further out, where it got worse. It was next to impossible to walk around and most stayed rooted to a seat they could slide into. As the boat turned, the view of the sunset did too, meaning a poor view, or moving around trying not to plow into something or someone! Two passengers got seasick off the stern. I’m giving it a three, because we left disappointed. If we had kept closer to land, for a smoother sail, it would have been better. All else was very nice and I’d definitely recommend.
