Whether you’re a zipline devotee or an adventure newbie, this Kohala zipline escapade in Kapaau, a quaint town at the northernmost point of the Big Island, will be a thrilling experience you’ll always remember!
- Participants must weigh between 70 and 270 lbs (32 kilograms and 122 kilograms) and WILL BE WEIGHED AT CHECK-IN. Guests will NOT be refunded if they do not meet the weight restrictions.
- Lightweight pants, capris or knee-length shorts, and a light sweatshirt are recommended
- Guests must wear close-toed shoes
- Minor children require a parent or guardian to sign their participation agreement, and children between the ages of 8 and 13 require an adult to zip with them
- This tour is not recommended for expectant mothers or those with back or neck problems
- GUESTS MUST CHECK-IN 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO TOUR TIME

Kohala Zipline Station located in Kapaau in North Kohala. Driving directions from Kona/Kohala Resorts:
• Take Highway 19 (Queen Kaahumanu Hwy) north to Highway 270 (Akoni Pule Hwy).
• Turn left on to Highway 270 and continue approximately 21 miles to the intersection of Highway 270 and Hawi Road.
• Turn right on to Hawi Road. Kohala Zipline is the historic yellow building on the left behind the gas station.

Nick and Tammy Rock!! - Nick and Tammy were excellent guides and are especially kind to me since I am scared of heights!!! They really took the time to explain everything and took that extra little bit of time to calm my nerves!

Great team and experience! - Wonderful adventure led by a high quality team. It was a beautiful setting, safely managed, and executed with fun and enjoyment. They did a particularly great job at remembering everyone's names and personalizing the experience. You could tell they love what they do.

Fun zip and the bridges were exciting - We had a lovely outing with Curtis and our other guide (whose name I cannot remember). The ziplines were fun but the bridges were even more exciting. The guides gave plenty of assurances to those who needed them. Take their advice regarding pictures. Ours turned out great - we all were wearing white T-shirts and they looked great.

Can’t go wrong - Curtis and Cody were great guides! The course was super fun and beautiful and the bridges introduced just a little bit of “danger” that made it all the more fun.

Excellent zipline experience!!! - My husband and I booked a zipline experience up at Kohala zipline. It was my first time doing zip-lines and I was quite nervous since I am a little afraid of heights…
Our guides were Curtis and Kody and man did they do an outstanding job!!
They were nice, friendly and they made sure everybody in the group felt at easy with their fun chit chat and very interesting knowledge about the flora and fauna around.
Once up in the trees, they took their time to allow everybody feel at ease, smile and provided calm and clear instructions. Because of this I felt good enough to zipline for the first time and my goodness, what a thrill!! I felt completely safe with the ziplines and with the good service of Curtis and Kody and with every zipline I enjoyed it more and more! I felt no fear no stress and I could really enjoy the unreal surroundings and vegetation. An experience of a lifetime! Mahalo guys 🤙🏻
Please trust me if I say that this was one of the best experiences that my husband and I had visiting this beautiful island ( together with a night dive with manta’s)

Daven and Kody are great!!! - Daven and Kody were absolutely amazing!!! So professional! Soooo much fun. They made the day very enjoyable!!! Daven is such an encyclopedia on Hawaii and we really enjoyed listening to him. Kody made sure everyone was clipped in safely that everyone felt so at ease and he took such great pictures of us that we had to buy them. I’m almost 80 and really don’t like open heights and they were so attentive and helpful that I felt very safe all the way. I would highly recommend them for anyone who wants a fun time zip lining!

Must Go - The guides were lovely. The group was small enough to really enjoy. There were 5 of us in our family. 3 generations. And the group was 9 total. The Zipline’s and the bridges were very fun. Would highly recommend when on the big island.

Best Time Ever - Was a tremendous lot of fun. Guides were very safety oriented and gave easy to follow instructions.
One of our best experiences on Big Island.
My 14 year old grandson cannot stop talking about the Zipping.
Would highly recommend Kohala Zip Line.
