Amazing Entertainment! - We attended the Luau-Dinner & Show with VIP level tickets. With that, we were able to sit up front, and included appetizers (fruits, cheese & macadamia nuts), along with a Hawaiian buffet (anybody for some Lechon?). I was more impressed with their poke, shrimps and ube bread, than the roasted pig (lechon). Desserts weren’t bad either (pineapple upside down cake, cheesecake & bread pudding). The show was just fantastic! Even their opening ceremony was impressive: from a Hawaiian Blessings for the food, to the performers parading down the aisle as an entrance! Fire dance was just awesome! We highly recommend going here!

Memorable experience in a beautiful setting - Beautiful setting with a smaller size luau that we loved. The food was amazing and we enjoyed the mai tai’s. Performance was awesome!

Good Times - The luau was a great experience. Everything was on point, from the games, food, drinks, and of course the show. My 5yr old daughter was engaged the entire time.

Such a good time - The food was delicious but the dancers were simply amazing. It was my man’s first time to the island and he just loved it.

Hawaiian Excellence! - Amazing entertainment and excellent food! Lots of different food options. Various activities to participate in. Wonderful Mai Tais. And lots of entertainment with explanations and information about the history of Hawaii and the culture. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful experience. Worth the cost. - Wonderful experience. Exactly what I imagined a luau to be. The pace was relaxed with dinner served an hour after registration and the show starting after dinner. It was nice not to feel rushed in such a beautiful atmosphere. The food was delicious and plentiful. We were all stuffed. They accommodated a food allergy for us by bringing a pre-prepared plate and told us what to stay away from if we went to the buffet line. The show was entertaining and the fire dancer performed for several minutes. Great experience and worth the price.

Great luau experience - Excelllent food…poke, shrimp and lots of local items and drinks (open bar)! The show was great! Beautiful location at Fairmont Orchid. Highly recommend!

The Best Luau Experience in Kona! - This was an excellent overall luau experience! From the venue to the food to the host and perfomers, this event makes what can be a corny and overly-touristy event into a really nice evening. The venue is so much better than the others I've seen in Hawaii - a beautiful location right by the water with replica historic buildings and a great stage. We also have to mention the host - he is a real professional with a great voice and lots of knowledge and a genuine aloha spirit! All the performers were great and clearly working hard (and enjoying it), but the fire dancer does deserve specific mention. Best of all, and very important, the food was really excellent. A huge variety of proteins and sides. Drinks were also good and plentiful - served with a smile. This isn't "fine dining" or custom drinks by a mixologist, but this team really pulls off a great balance of hospitality, fun, entertainment, and great food. We felt as though we learned something and weren't bored for a minute. This does not happen for all luaus. A special thanks to the whole Island Breeze team. To echo one other comment, the side activities (temporary tattoos and games) did close pretty early. We got there early and would have had time to take advantage, but if someone arrived later, there wasn't much time. I think it's a matter of getting there a bit early, because it is already a full evening!

The best Luau on the Big Island - Would have been 5 stars except by the time we had a moment to look at the card for pictures the 7pm deadline had come and gone. I was wearing contacts and could not read the card or see the pictures. A heads up to draw our attention to deadline would have been nice. The food was very good. The open bar was very good. We gave the show a 7 because the actual performance was not very long.

Not the best Luau - Great location. Show was entertaining. Fire dancer was awesome. But the additional activities were only open for 10 minutes once we got checked in. The food was mediocre and cold. They kept running out of food and you had to wait for a long time for replacements. Food was on circular tables. Which made for awkward lines. The service was nonexistent. We got water filled once. The dishes and plates piled up on the table until the end. Show stopped 30 minutes early. And getting out of the parking lot took over 25 minutes!!
