Great Day Exploring Hilo! - We would like to thank our driver/tour guide, Ellen, for such a wonderful day! She was very friendly, knowledgable, and went the extra mile to provide our group with an extremely pleasurable experience. She loves her job and has a passion for her history and it shows!! Pickup & drop off was at the cruise port, the bus was comfortable and we visited all the stops on the itinerary (plus an extra one... Ellen is the BEST)! Mahalo!!

Helio Big C volcano park tour. - The tour with Donna was great. She took us around Heilo and then to volcano national park. She kept us entertained with information and facts about Hawaii and the Helio area the whole time. The bus was clean and comfortable (this from a guy 6ft 5in). Highly recommend this tour.

Disappointing - The tour did not take us to the volcano close to the ocean. I was disappointed that I only got to look at a crater.

It could have been better - The tour guide was very good, but the points of interest left a lot to be desired. The falls were interesting but not spectacular, as one would expect from the write-up. The National Park was interesting if you had never seen a cauldera. The same goes for the black sand beach. However, if you had seen them, they were second rate. The lava tube would have been interesting if it had been accessible to handicapped people. As it was many of us didn’t get to see it.
