A wonderful experience,I highly recommend! - The food and dancing were excellent! The narrator had my wife and I dancing, a rare experience for us but fun. We enjoyed learning about the history and culture of Hawaii. I believe the people make the difference and nothing could be more true here. Many Thanks and Aloha!

Luau love - So much fun! We loved learning about the history of Hawaii. It was a show from beginning to end with great food and good drinks all included. It’s worth doing at least once.

Island Breeze Luau - My boyfriend and I had a very nice time at the Island Breeze Luau, you could purchase a lei for an extra $20, (Which we did not do) and we did have to stand in line for quit awhile, but it was a very nice show. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice and helpful. The only disappointment was , and it was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT 😞 😮‍💨 we did not get any of the roasted pig, they let us watch them take it out of the pit, and open it up, after that we sat back down to finish our meal, we walked around trying to find out where it was so we could have some, we couldn't find it, I asked one of the staff where we could get some of the roasted pig and they told us it was already put away.🫤😠. I did ask a couple of people that were at the luau if they got any and they said no. When the Luau was over and we were walking out I noticed way back behind some trees was the roasted pig. That was really a let down. Other then that we enjoyed the experience.

Great Luau but poor seating policies. - We were seated by the host then we told that we could all get up and go to buffet and our seats would be fine. When we go back to our seats random people had decided to move and sit in our seats, used our silverware, and drank our water. Then there was confusion as to where to seat us, they. Are a new table and we did not have the qr code to get our photos. Otherwise food and entertainment was excellent.

Pros and cons - Sooo, this is a mixed review. This is probably my fifth luau over the last many years. All of the entertainers were excellent, especially the main storyteller/ mc, the canoe entrance of the royal court was unique and moving. The setting is not only historical, but beautiful, and the singers were also very good. I ordered a special vegetarian plate, which was quite wonderful! The unearthing of the pig also happened in the middle of all of the festivities and my brother, who is a meat eater, really didn’t find where they had put out that dish afterwards. The dancers however, were all very talented and flowed with aloha energy! So on the flipside, apparently it was not fully booked, which meant that the food portion of the evening went very fast. Unfortunately, people had just sat down to eat when they we’re invited to the Hulu lesson -away from the main stage, and then also after that the wonderful entrance of the Royal Court was announced and people left to go watch that. Consequently, there were 100++ plates of food getting cold on the tables while people stood up (which we were asked to do to honor them ) and watched the festivities. It felt very rushed and actually ended about a half hour early because they started the entertainment so early! Note to the producers, really bad timing!

Over priced - Performers were great. The add was misleading as to what was included. No option for better drinks and food options were limited.

The once popular Island Breeze Luau has seen its better days. - The Island Breeze Luau at the King K in Kona has seen its better days. It has cut so many corners it has loat its way, Is inauthentic and is now a tourist trap of marginal quality. The food lacks the presentation and flavor of previous years, the pre-dinner activities eliminated and you get the feeling that they just want to get the evening over with. They now direct you immediately to the very frugal buffet table which is served industrial style in unheated trays. Most likely you will be eating your dinner cold as you wait for the buffet to be replinished. The only refreshing part of the $2000 dinner for our family of 12 was the talent of the performers who gave a great performance. There are far better options then wasting an evening at this lame excuse for a luau. It was an utter disappointment after many years of bringing friends and visitors as a must see event. Now it is relegated to a must avoid. Maybe someday it will regain its authenticity, quality and vigor.
