High above, witness breathtaking waterfalls plunging thousands of feet into the rainforest below, where traces of ancient Hawaiian settlements can still be seen. Named after the oldest volcanic mountain, the Kohala Mountains dominate the region and are often regarded as the most spectacular landscape in Hawaii. Towering sea cliffs provide a dramatic backdrop along the rugged coastline.

Before heading back, explore Waipi’o Valley, the childhood home of King Kamehameha I. Encircled by cliffs reaching up to 2000 feet, observe the ancient taro fields with rivers flowing through the valley. Delight in the numerous cascading waterfalls and the tranquil landscape of the mile-wide valley. Learn about the history of this majestic area from the helicopter pilot through noise-cancelling headsets.

• Check-in is 1-hour prior to tour time. This allows for guest weight check-in, a safety briefing, and to be escorted and seated on the aircraft to ensure an on-time departure. Late arrivals may not be accepted and non-refundable. Please allow ample travel time to your check-in location in case of traffic delays.

• For each guest weighing over 240 pounds (108 kg), an adjacent empty seat is required to safely balance the aircraft. The second seat charge is half off of the regular tour price. Please arrange your additional seat after booking.

• Hats, Bags, large cameras, extending selfie sticks are not permitted on the helicopter.
• You should bring a credit card for optional video/photo packages and souvenirs at heliport.
