Top of our list!! - This tour went way beyond our expectations! The cloud forest is amazing and our guide, Taryn, is so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. Our tour group ranged from babies to seniors and she responded perfectly to all our questions. The walk is slow and a little uneven but good for all ages plus they provide walking sticks We combined the tour with the sound bath which was a relaxing and peaceful ending to a beautiful afternoon. Definitely add this to your bucket list - unlike anything else on the big island!

Cloud Forest Immersion - Fantastic educational immersion into Hawaiian flora. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to nerd-out on nature and do some tree hugging. 🤗 Top it off with their Sound Bath right after and you will feel completely refreshed in mind and body.

Beautiful and educational - An excellent tour that was educational and informative. We saw beautiful plant/tree life. Our guide was not only knowledgable but clearly invested in the maintenance of this beautiful sanctuary who was started 4 decades ago by his grandfather. My wife and I enjoyed this tour beyond comprehension. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and love for this heavenly space.

Beautiful trees and guides with a beautiful spirits - The plants and trees in this forest were amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed the stories and experiences shared by the guide, such a kind and wonderful spirit! She said her spirit plant was the mushroom and wore mushroom earrings. I know my spirit animal, but not sure what my spirit plant would be. Maybe lime because it cultivated itself and is adaptable, or Eucalyptus because it’s nurturing, or the plant whose name escapes me that promotes healing and whose leaf back looks like a circulatory system. There were so many plants and trees to draw inspiration from. Not to mention aromatherapy. If you have never smelled a crushed lime leaf, add it to your bucket list. Can’t wait for more adventures in this beautiful forest next time I am in Kona!

Let the forest refresh you! - Very glad to be in the forest silence…which isn’t really silent at all. Wind, bees, birds all gave us their music as we walked with Teryn. We enthusiastically encourage you to get out of town and into the forest! Bonus: just steps away from Mountain Thunder Kona Coffee.

This is totally worth the money...you won't be disappointed - It was a spectacular experience in a lovely forest jungle, with the amazing Bri leading us along. Her compassion for the forest and kindness to each of her 6 guests combined into an educational and surprisingly spiritual experience.

Highly recommend this tour! - Worth every penny! Walking tour of the cloud forest that has grown from nothing to a full-blown jungle in 40 years, thanks to the vision and resources of one man and his support staff. Brie was a wonderful, knowledgeable, caring guide, and the required (supplied) walking sticks were a great help.

Best experience on Hawaii! - One of the best experiences ever in Hawaii. Our guide Bri was so knowledgeable and passionate and brought a Forest Bathing experience to the tour. The sanctuary has been restored to a more ancient forest ecosystem. This was the highlight of my trip to the island.

Overpriced and not that interesting - The setting is beautiful. The hosts are friendly and knowledgeable. Our tour lasted 90 minutes. We spent most of the time listening and learning about the trees, ferns, bamboo, canopy and family history. But I can’t believe we paid $300 for a family of four. At the most they should just ask for a donation. Save your money and just go for a free hike on the island somewhere else.
