- All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.
- 25-30 minutes of water time

Must do on Big Island! - Must do on the Big Island! What a cool experience! The manta rays swim right up to you - it’s crazy how close they get! Highly recommend - we will for sure do it again!

Dream moments - Superb experience, magical moments that will remain unforgettable!!
Everything is well oiled and it passes very quickly enjoy.
Just a tip don’t hesitate to pay the extra for the suit because by remaining static we are a little cold but it’s not dramatic.

Awesome experience. - Had a great time with these guys this week. Lovely people and very safety consious, we had very clear instructions from the captain and a safety diver in the water at all times. We saw loads of Mantas feeding all around us and it was the best experience. The boat was a rib so you leave all your stuff at the harbour with one of the crew. Lots of dive boats in and out but it was civilised and safe. Our captain chose a sopt away from a couple of the other boats already there and what a great choice, so many Mantas. You cannot touch them so please dont be tempted as it harms them. Also dont be late these guys are on a tight schedule. It was amazing and I would do it again with My Kona adventures in a heartbeat.

Excellent experience with smaller tour company, we cant wait to go again! - We had an excellent experience with My Kona Adventures! All the employees from check-in to return were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. When you arrive at the harbor you will see lots of tour companies, all going out at the same harbor, to the same spot. I’m so glad we chose My Kona Adventures we felt so well taken care of and received personalized service with our smaller group! Swimming with the mantas is truly magical! Don’t skip this if you are coming to Big Island Hawaii!

Breathtaking experience! - Me and my husband booked this excursion for our anniversary. And it was so incredible. These gentle giants are majestic and it was fun to learn more about them. Our captains and guides were very friendly. And I believe it was Chase who taught us lots of fun facts about the manta rays. His explanations of the birthing process will forever live in my memory: “150 lb flying burrito baby”. And so will his technical term for manta rays: “majestic flappy sea tanks” or something like that. I did a lot of research on who to take this trip with and I’m very pleased with my decision. I happen to have a phobia of vomit and I saw a lot of other companies would take long rocky boat rides out resulting in the customers getting seasickness. However this group here had a nice slow, short, 5 min ride out to our spot. No one got sick. And I also felt like the amount of time we got was just perfect. Not too short or too long. They did give us extra time for some reason which was nice. But by the time they said it was over I was ready to go! I did get cold even though the water is pretty warm here. So I do recommend getting the wet suit jacket! I also very much appreciated that this was the best price I could find anywhere! And we got to watch the sunset from the dock while we waiting. 10/10 experience. This group is the one to go with for sure!!

A MUST DO !!!!!!!! - Absolutely incredible! 1000% recommend! this is something you should not miss while in Kona! We saw maybe 20+ rays! Shout out to the instructors!!!!!!!!

Must do on the Big Island! - We felt that this was one of the main highlights of the trip. We got to see so many Manta Rays up close that I thought they were going to touch us. I just wish I brought my go pro or waterproof phone cover to capture footage of it all. The tour guides were amazing, funny, and informative. We can’t wait to bring our daughter to the Big Island so we can do it again!
