If you’re looking for a phenomenal experience, look no further! - We travelled as a family of ten on the Pride of America cruise. We booked this private tour wanting a more personal experience. The entire day from start to finish was fabulous. Skylar was great, very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He made sure that the entire family had enough time to enjoy the sites, and timed everything perfectly to ensure we made it back to port on time. Highly, highly, recommend.

FANTASTIC private tour of Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park! - Our trip to Hawaii was a gift to celebrate many different events all at once (wedding anniversary, graduation from college, 30th and 60th birthdays), so we wanted to make every day special. Touring with Big Island VIP definitely made our day in Hilo and Volcanoes National Park extremely special. The four of us were cruising on the NCL Pride of America and had one day in Hilo, and we wanted to make the most of our time at the Park. We were originally going to rent a car and try to see the park on our own, but decided that we would be able to learn more with a guide. Rob picked us up at the pier early, and we were able to beat the crowds to the main tour spots, as well as go to locations in the park that not many people get to see. There is so much to see and do in the park, and we definitely appreciated Rob taking us to so many wonderful places. My husband was especially fascinated and had a wonderful dialogue with Rob about everything we saw throughout the entire day. The tour is enhanced by videos in the van explaining what we were about to see - the history of the volcanoes, the different types of lava, and the various eruptions that have occurred over the years. Rob is an encyclopedia of information, and it is evident how much he loves the island and sharing it with people. A bonus was that pictures were taken throughout the day, and shared with us after the tour. We all had a wonderful day (and had an equally wonderful day in Kona, for we booked a tour with Rob the next day as well)!

Blown away! - Jodi was amazing! The tour was informative and fun. She made our group feel like part of her family. We were thrilled that she took so many pictures and gave us the digital copies. We had a group of 8 that one of our members put together based on Jodi’s suggestion of how to get others on the tour. Totally worth the cost we paid. I highly recommend Jodi and her company.

Memorable Volcanoes Tour - Very happy that we booked this tour! Skylar picked our group of 10 up on time and was well-prepared with rain gear, flashlights, water, and snacks. He took photos throughout the day for our group so we could just ralax and take in the sights. We had a tour around Hilo and saw some of the well-known landmarks, parks, and waterfalls before driving up to Volcanoes National Park. Everything was well-organized and very informative. Getting a first hand account of the history and culture of the area, information about native plants and animals, and of course about volcanoes made our trip so memorable. Thank you Skylar and Big Island VIP! Definitely recommend!!

Top of The Line Service - Robin really made the difference when it came to exploring and experiencing what the Big Island has to offer. Robin was so knowledgeable and funny. His schedules were excellent and kept us on track. The more you move the more you see. He will cater this experience to meet your needs. The van was so clean and comfortable, we traveled in style! An amazing tour with Dash! - Dash was our tour guide from Big Island VIP! He was amazing and so knowledgeable. He was also very high energy, took great pictures for us, and we loved hearing stories and experiences. The van was comfortable for our family of 6 and he also provided us with water and snacks. Great Excursion with Big Island VIP! - What a great experience with Big Island VIP! Our guide Skylar was courteous, engaging and very knowledgeable about the park’s geology, flora and fauna. He even customized our trip based on our preferences, spending time in parts of the park that most tours don’t explore. If i could, i’d rate this excursion 10 stars!!

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Tour with Big Island VIP Tours - There is some much to say about the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park tour, let me sum it up by saying you absolutely do not want to miss it! To do it right I highly recommend Big Island VIP Tours! The booking experience was super easy and it is where the amazing customer service began for me, when I booked the tour I selected the wrong date, Rob noticed the conflict in my comments and the date I selected and called me to verify the date I would be in Hilo. I was so grateful for his attention to detail on every aspect of the experience or we would have completely missed the tour. Let me talk a little about Rob, our guide for the tour. Communication was great, he checked on us throughout the day of the tour to verify when the ship would be arriving, what time we planned to get off the ship and as we exited the terminal he was right there with that easy to spot Mercedes Sprinter Van. It was raining hard as we exited the terminal, he spotted us and pulled as closely as possible and jumped out with an umbrella to walk us to the van. He was always there two anticipate every possible need throughout the day and made the entire day a huge success. But it went even further, he also gave us a plan for our next day in Kona, we were undecided on what we were going to do but his recommendations were amazing for Kona as well. During the tour Rob provided great information on everything from the lava flows, to the different lava activities from eruptions over the years. While we saw many large tour groups in the park, they never were where we went, we were able to get to things they just could not do with a bus load of people. We walked out on lava fields to see the different types of lava and scenery throughout the park. The day after the tour we received a link to all the pictures Rob took during our visit, his experience and knowledge enabled us to see the best sights and learn the history of the different volcanic activities over the years. Drinks and snacks were available throughout the day and Rob even knows where the best restrooms are located! Amazing day and the high point of our trip.
