Setting Sail on the Kona Coast

The sun was just beginning to rise over the Big Island as I made my way to the Kailua Pier, ready to embark on a day of adventure aboard the Body Glove Catamaran. The anticipation of exploring Hawaii’s marine sanctuary had me buzzing with excitement. As a former professional surfer, I’ve spent countless hours in the ocean, but the promise of a luxury catamaran experience was something new and thrilling.

Boarding the double-decker catamaran, I was immediately struck by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the vessel. A Toast to the Dolphins

As the sun began its descent, signaling the end of our snorkeling adventure, we gathered back on the catamaran for a delicious BBQ lunch. The aroma of hamburgers grilling mingled with the salty sea air, and the taste of Hawaiian Maui onion potato chips was a delightful surprise.

With a glass of white wine in hand, I settled into a comfortable spot on the deck, soaking in the last rays of the sun. Just when I thought the day couldn’t get any better, a pod of dolphins appeared, playfully leaping and spinning in the water. It was a breathtaking sight, a reminder of the ocean’s endless wonders.

As we made our way back to the pier, I reflected on the day’s adventures.
