Excellent Crew! - The best thing about this adventure was the staff! Captain Raj, Agnes, and especially Jenny (I feel bad not remembering her exact name if this is incorrect, sorry) but she had the best energy, all were amazing! When she saw the note in the computer about us being married later that day, she lit up and was so excited for us. Great customer service all around! Thanks guys! Intimate setting, only 7 customers on board the boat, which I thought was nice. Check-in was a little confusing finding the location inside the shopping center. GPS took us to Longs drugstore but Agnes was very helpful when I called to pinpoint the suite location successfully. They sell sun shirts, sun block, waterproof accessories (phones and I think waterproof bags), among other things in the shop. They have a dry compartment on the boat, big enough for towels and your belongings- everything stayed dry. They checked in during the boat ride if the speed was ok and asked if everyone was comfortable. Juice, water, chips, all kinds of Costco snacks, and fresh pineapple were provided. The ladies even cut the pineapple to make it look all pretty when serving; fruit was fresh and ripe, the best!! Early arrival at Captain Cook park was an advantage to us- meant we got more time in the water without so many other tour boat companies and tourists crowding the dive area, as it got very crowded towards departure. Seemed like the larger boats come in 30-60 mins after we got there. They provide noodles, so you can float in the water- makes life easy! But be careful and pay attention to your surroundings, as the crowded snorkeling you could easily run into someone else if not being attentive. Place of Refuge was pretty under the water but definitely less fish than Captain Cook. Water was choppier and more waves, shallow too in the reefs but Raj tells you the boundaries and where to avoid snorkeling. I’ve never snorkeled in Hawaii before and honestly, it was really cool to say we did it, but I was over it less than an hour into the first site (ADHD brain). Don’t get me wrong, it was beautiful and so cool to see all the fish and coral reef. Definitely give it a shot and do it!! Highly recommend renting one of their go-pros if you’re the type that would want to film the experience under water and watch later, however we did just fine without one. The other highlight of the trip for me was the ride back to boat launch, as Capt. Raj and the ladies gave a brief tour of lava tube caves and also the Pele red rock formation that inspired Disney’s Moana film. I’m a dork and enjoy random facts and historical tours. Definitely try it out, cross it off a bucket list if you have never tried it before! It was great!

Bo Knows Red Drum - My adult sons and I went fishing with Captain Bo recently and from the first cast it was a special day. We caught over 25 red drum and a couple bull reds and the boys loved every minute of it. Captain Bo is friendly, knowledgeable, and gracious. Can't wait to get back on the water with him on a future trip to SC.

Awesome! - We had a great time with captain raj and Robert! We stopped at two step & captain cook to snorkel. We could see lots of fish, there was some sand in the water from the swell but it didn’t take away from the experience! We saw some coastal caves and they provided plenty of drinks/snacks for us. Overall an awesome day on the sea!

Interesting and informative - Great tour, informative and interesting. They took us to the bay, told us where the best fish viewing areas were and sent us off. Snacks and drinks waiting on our return to the boat. Showed us a few interesting sites on the ride back to the harbour. All in all, a great snorkeling morning.

Best guides ever! - It’s worth it to get up early for this adventure. The Zodiac style boat with seven guests arrived at Captain Cook Monument before any other boats so we had a tranquil morning snorkel. Dennis and Jenny were excellent guides, focused on safety, knowledgeable about the underwater terrain, and full of interesting history of the area. The snorkeling in deep water at the reefs outside the Place of Refuge was terrific. This type of boat is often used in water rescues so it is very safe and stable, and the ride can be a bit bumpy (fun!) depending on the weather. If you like the wind in your face and the feeling of zipping over the ocean you will love this tour.

Great time - It was great! I was nervous about snorkeling but it was a very chill atmosphere. My husband tried it and hated it so Captain Dennis entertained him on the boat while I tootled around

Great Tour, Though We Didn't Really Beat the Crowds - Wonderful snorkel trip! Captain Raj did a great job of explaining everything and making the tour fun. We saw so many fish at both locations, and enjoyed the opportunity to explore each spot. The only frustration we had, was that we picked this tour& paid more because it was marked as a "beat the crowds" tour. Perhaps something went wrong, but all the guests were checked in and at the dock before 7:20, the time the kind employee who'd checked us all in, told us to meet. She was also at the dock waiting with us. The Captain & boat didn't arrive until 20-30 minutes later. Other groups were also meeting at the same spot by the time were able to load the boat. It was a little frustrating to arrive for check-in at 7, then not leave for almost another hour, since we were trying to "beat the crowds." We came back to the dock 5 hours after check-in, and the last four hours were great, but we would have preferred to either check-in later, or get on the boat at 7-7:30.
