See parts of the Island most residents of Hawaii never see! Explore further down the pristine South Kona Coast than any other snorkeling tour company and snorkel at 3 incredible locations including Kealakekua Bay, the culturally significant Pu’uhonua O Honaunau, and a third remote location inaccessible any other way. Perhaps you’ll snorkel at a black sand beach and have it all to yourselves. Maybe a stone arch or a spectacular lava rock formation created thousands of years ago.
Explore sea caves and lava tubes in our safe, exciting, and maneuverable custom vessels designed to get you up close and personal with the coast. Scout for marine life such as pilot whales as long as your boat, Hawaiian spinner dolphins, green sea turtles, and more.
Lunch is provided, as are snacks, water & juice throughout the day. All the snorkeling gear and flotation devices you need as well. You simply show up in your swimsuit with your reef-safe sunscreen and towel in hand and away we go!

Excellent snorkeling tour - Well planned trip. All three sites were different and great. We got to K Bay when it was a bit less crowded. This was highly enjoyable snorkeling for both beginners and for more experienced snorkelers, and it was nice to see up close the sea caves in a smaller boat.

Best snorkeling experience I’ve ever had. - Lauren was extremely helpful with getting our gear on comfortably. The noodles made snorkeling effortless. We definitely enjoyed stop 2 as it was very calm and there were lots of fish. We also saw 5 dolphins and 3 turtles.

Fabulous snorkeling experience - Wonderful snorkeling experience in 3 different locations which each were unique. 30-45 min snorkeling at each location. We also saw bottle nose dolphins that swam all around us-a treat the guides were excited about. Great lunch and snacks. My daughter was very disappointed that the GoPro we rented didn’t work. I’d suggest asking for a second battery and using it before you go out to make sure it works. I’d also suggest keeping out your sunscreen and reapplying after each snorkel. Our stuff was put under the seats and so it was awkward to ask people to stand so we could get it out but we ended up quite sunburned. Even so, our family had a great trip-the guides were terrific-friendly and knowledgeable. I’d definitely recommend this trip over ones that just go to one spot and I’d take this tour again.

Amazing snorkeling - We had a spectacular experience with Captain Brendan and Darcy. The snorkeling was wonderful at both Two Steps and Capt Cook! Everything was well organized with an emphasis on safety and fun.

Great Snorkeling Sampling of the Kona Coast - Our guides, Brenden and Darcy, hosted a wonderful day of multiple snorkeling stops along the Kona coast and mixed in several additional informational stops along the way. Each snorkeling stop was unique, and the staff was attentive, professional, safety-oriented and well-informed. We had a great time, and I would highly recommend this excursion and Sea Quest.

Wonderful adventure - We had a fantastic day snorkeling with Capt Brendan, MJ, and Kapono. We enjoyed seeing the many different reefs from the older more mature Two Steps area to the younger less mature Turtle Head area. In addition, Capt Brendan stopped along the coast in many places and shared a lot of cultural and geologic knowledge that was interesting and helped us learn more about the island. The best part is the care the crew takes to get you in and out of the water quickly and ensure each person's comfort throughout the trip.

Exceptional, Remote Snorkel Experience without the Crowds! - If you want to experience an exceptional snorkel without the rushing crowds, then I highly recommend the Expedition South Kona trip with Sea Quest for completely different snorkel experience. The highlight of this trip was snorkeling in a remote place where there were no crowds and visiting the amazing sea caves. This was like no other snorkel trip that I have been on! The crew, Kevin and Kaitlyn went above and beyond with their skills and expertise. I highly recommend Sea Quest!!!

So much to see as we explored the coast and snorkeled - What a fantastic adventure! It is a small group excursion that brings the ocean up close and personal. We went to 3 different sites and snorkeled for an extended period of time. The sites were all different and came with different sea life and landscape. The crew was friendly, lad back, and very helpful. They knew that area very well and took us along the shore where we could see the lava formations that had spilled into the sea. I loved every moment.
