Up close with Humpback Whales! - What an incredible trip with Warren as our guide! We had the rare opportunity of having 2 Humpback whales circle, surface and dive under our small boat for about 20 minutes. Truly incredible. They acted like large dolphins who were curious and wanted to show off for us. What fun! I would rate the trip as 6 stars if I could!

Memorable Whale WAtching Experience! - My husband and I had a fantastic whale watching tour with captain Shelley (sp?) and deckhand Tim. The captain shared a lot of interesting facts about whales and their behavior. We followed (from a safe distance) three whales and even got to see one of them do a full breach (fluke out of the water). We also saw a large pod of spinner dolphins, who put on quite a show. Thanks again, we'll be back!

Fantastic Whale Watching Experience - This company goes all out to provide a good experience. Captain Raj and first mate Tim went above and beyond to help my disabled mom enjoy this adventure. They practically carried her on board, they provided a comfortable seat for her and were just phenomenal. We saw a small pod of Humpback whales and we followed them around seeing them swim, spray and breach. They also had a sound device that let us hear the whales communicating underwater. It’s pretty amazing when you see a creature that large hoist themselves out of the water. We had gorgeous weather and just an all around great time. Then to top it all off, Shelly personally drove us back to our ship. Our attempts at securing a ride share failed and he thought if we relied on the public bus we wouldn’t get back in time. I can’t say enough good things about this company.

Bumpy but fun! - Chad was a lot of fun. He really went out of his way to find the whales. Several things that i didn't know about this trip. You do need to take your shoes off on the boat and the ride is quite bumpy ( probably not the best if you have health issues or are pregnant). Liked the small group feel. Chad was very knowledgeable about the whales and the island. Would highly recommend.

Great Experience - Our captain really knew what he was doing. He knew where the whales were likely to be and he found them. We trailed a female and her newborn calf and had several sightings. He was also well-versed about the whales and their habits and answered every question thrown at him. It was a great experience.

Intimate and exciting whale encounter - The small group size provided intimacy and personal interactions with Captain Shelley, who was friendly , welcoming and knowledgeable. Best moments: when Shelley put the hydrophone in the water and we heard humpbacks for the first time. And when we were headed back to shore, whales were breaching in the distance so Shelley turned the boat around and took us back out at full throttle to see the sight! Much appreciated

Spring Break '22 - We did not realize that we were to look for the building when we arrived for our tour and had to call back to the office to realize that we met at the table near the restrooms. Once out to open water, we immediately were met by spinners and moved north to see one of the last remaining groups still in the area before migrating up to Alaska. Definitely a must for anyone or family coming to see the whales. Just make sure you come early to see them.

Captain Shelley terrific - We really enjoyed our day on the water with Captain Shelley. Perfect combo of professional & fun. Stayed out just a little longer to get a glimpse of a whale’s spout, which was exciting. Note: whale season has changed a bit, now more typically runs Jan-Feb

NOT Advised - Perhaps I miss read the description of this event but let me be clear: it is not suitable for all ages, there is not a naturalist on board, hydrophone did pick up a minute of whale song from nearly 2 nautical miles away. We did see many blows and perhaps 3 whale parts as they came up for air. Captain "chad" had a pocket full of whale facts and plenty of personal stories especially. of using guest services at hotels he was not a guest at. This trip included lots of racing to and fro as Shad said he saw a whale breach but to no avail. I do not recommend this excursion , not due to disappointing whale sitings but what appeared to be self- inflating efforts to see whales.
