Great whale watching with a crew that cares - Great tour with a fantastic crew. We managed to get close to three different whales during our tour. They have a system that allows you to hear them singing, which was a trip. Additionally, our flight had been delayed by a day so we missed our original booking. They were able to accommodate us the next day; made our day!

Great Day to See Whales, Great Crew! - Our captain and crew were wonderful! We got to see several whales. Breeches, flukes, and blowholes! Our son's 24 birthday was very memorable. They offered a good variety of snacks and drinks. We also saw spinner dolphins, sea turtles, and sharks that hangout at the entrance to the Marina. The music was also very good and bonus fun.

Whale tale - Crew made sure we found some whales and shared their knowledge about the whales as well. Also shared some Hawaiian folklore.

Oddest 5 star review ever. - The trip left as scheduled but it quickly became clear the experience was not going to be great. The waves were hitting the boat hard and we had to turn around. We got so wet on the way back that it felt like we were having a bucket of water tossed directly at us every minute or two. But. Weather and conditions are not the fault of Hang Loose Boat Tours. The crew (Aiden and Jonah) took very good care of us and kept us safe. They were very apologetic about not giving us the experience we expected. While they can't control the weather, they can control how they respond to it. And they did well. We were unable to reschedule due to our constraints and received a full refund with no hassle.

Great time - The crew was super friendly and great! The boat was very comfortable. We spotted the three whales and tracked them. The boat captain knew a lot and was able to answer your questions. Good snacks and they kept making sure you had a drink and got some snacks.

Great from beginning to end - highly recommend - Great experience! The Captain (Bryce) and Jonah (forgot the other crew member’s name) did a great job. Funny, knowledgeable and enjoyable all around. Highly recommend.

So awesome - The water was rough! We were headed to a certain spot that had lots of whales the day before. Halfway there we had to turn around because the wind was up to 50mph. We ended up going to the south end and saw a mama and baby. It was so amazing!! The little baby was having a great time and breeched so many times. A couple of people were sea sick and I even felt a little sick but it was worth the experience.
