Outstanding tour! Select this company - great value! - Choose this tour company! Our tour guide, Jesenia, was incredible. She speaks both Spanish and English and really knows her stuff. She was kind and very patient with our small group of 3, which included two slow/mature folks. ;) And we really lucked out seeing so many animals - sloths (including a baby sloth), toucans, turkeys, frogs, a snake, and white-faced monkeys. It was terrific.

Fantastic private Tour! - Very good place to see some of Costa Rica’s wild life! We had the chance to take fantastic pictures (super close) and learn a lot about the animals.

Great Spot for Birders, But Plenty for Everyone, Even in the Rain - We had a rainy day and I was prepared for a wet walk through the forest and hopes for a few glimpses of wildlife. What we got was a robust and interesting tour by our talented guide, Obed. This is a private reserve and full of birds, frogs, reptiles and of course, sloths. (The first one was spotted from the parking lot.) Despite the rain, we saw a lot of birds. Obed knew every one, as he is a devoted birder and photographer. He helped me get pictures beyond my skill level. We had a very wet, very satisfying visit. We will be back when the sun is shining.
And at the very end, we spotted a tapir darting into the woods. Voila!
Very pleasant and accomodating staff. On Trip Advisor, you can specify English or Spanish. Otherwise, I'd suggest to call or WhatsApp in advance if you need the tour in English, just to be sure.

Great time! - I wanted to see a sloth and had some free time but didn't have a reservation. I showed up and they were very accommodating.
I had an amazing guide, Angelica, take me around the grounds for an hour. The key thing for any wildlife tour in the area is having a great guide. She spotted not only multiple sloths, but also different species of frogs, and the best, an eyelash pit viper. That was pretty awesome.
If you plan on going, I highly recommend you ask for Angelica!

Incredible Wildlife at Paradise Sloth Tours! - We had a lovely tour with Paradise with the wonderful guide, Jessi. She was so thoughtful and worked really hard to find us incredible wildlife to see. She also took amazing photos for us! We were able to see a porcupine, toucans, the famous red-eyed tree frog, an eye-lash viper snake, and of course, sloths! When my young son was sad that he was unable to see the sloths in the trees because they were too far away, Jessi was very sweet and patient with him and he was rewarded in the end when we were able to see a baby sloth up close! It was truly an experience we will never forget. I highly recommend Paradise and their wonderful staff!

Amazing - This tour was AMAZING! So worth the drive it took us to get there. Marlon, our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and conservation of Costa Rican jungles. He was such a great guy! It was so great to see the animals we saw in their natural environment and not in a cage somewhere. We were lucky enough to see a 3 toed sloth, howler monkeys, a red eyed tree frog and many different birds. We also got to learn about the vegetation all around. This tour is a MUST see!

Excellent option for an easy walk to Costa Rican wildlife with a great guide - A wonderful experience. Saw red-eyed tree frog, red dart poison frog and both an adult sloth (actually moving and eating) and a baby sloth. All within a close distance. Guide was amazing - personable and knowledgeable plus helped get some great pictures through her binoculars. Very accessible paths jn a beautiful place. Our family loved it!

No mobility scooter, though it was advertised on their website. - Could have been a great experience (my grandkids had a blast) nut it was very difficult for me - and disappointing. Having used the free mobility scooter provided at the War Museum, I was excited to see on their website there was also one available at the Science Museum. I don't think institution's realize how demoralizing it is to people with disabilies when there are promises made as to accessibility and then they just don't bother to fulfill those promises. I enquired at the front desk and was told "uh, I think we rented one for a little while, but we don't have it anymore. I was offered a manual wheelchair instead, which is pretty useless for someone who does not use one on a regular basis and does not have the necessary muscle development or skill to propel oneself around for several hours. Please do better for people with disabilities. I would gladly have brought my own if only I knew. I also don't expect them to be provided free of charge. I would gladly have paid a rental fee to cover the cost of providing this service.
What should have been a very pleasant experience with 3 of our grandchildren, was spent waiting on a leather chair near the gift shop while their grandfather fi wished over half the visit on his own. The worst of it was the Museum staff just brushed me off as though I was merely an interruption in their day. I was offered a feeble "sorry" but no feeling or understanding that what might be a minor problem for them, was a major, even fatal disruption in the visit to me.
