Great day in Costa Rica - Michelle and our driver were cheerful and professional, and we felt safe and taken care of at all times. Our guide at the animal sanctuary, Noah, was very knowledgeable and he ensured we all went home with amazing pictures of the wildlife. The rafting guides, including Moses, ensured we had a blast. Our lunch and setting was perfect, and the day was a great way to experience many aspects of Costa Rica!

Great way to experience a lot - Great way to experience many amazing and beautiful parts of Costa Rica! Our guides Michele and Gustavo were outstanding, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Be ready for a long day. Hiking shoes and water socks are very helpful to bring along. The hike to the waterfall is short but a bit strenuous. Be prepared for the 244 stairs. We were so amazed by how many animals we saw in their natural habitat. An up close encounter with a sloth was on our CR bucket list and nature did not disappoint! The tubing in the river was a lot more fun than we expected. It’s not a lazy River! By the time we were dropped at our hotel, the tour was about 10 hours start to finish. We were exhausted at the end but very grateful to have made memories that will last a lifetime!

Great tour! - What a great tour! Tubing was the best part, so fun and amazing river through the jungle. Waterfall was really great to see as well. Martin our driver and Nicole our tour guide were awesome and even went out of their way to pick us up from our house that was put of the way far from any town.

Costa Rica MUST do - This was the first tour that i’ve done that is 10000% worth the time and money. We had so much fun and saw so many animals. The views were incredible. I would do it 100 times again. Nicole was so spectacular I would definitely recommend her for younger people.

Excellent excursion and guides - This was an amazing excursion. Michelle was amazing, friendly and fun to spend the day with. Jonathan was a great driver and very nice. Allen our guide at the rain forest was amazing. Super knowledgeable, friendly and took his time to take amazing pictures and videos and explain every animal and create we saw. We got within a foot of a young sloth. That made the day for us. The hike to the waterfall is moderate at least with a lot of stairs. Our calves were hurting the next day but worth it. Lastly, our guides for the tubing down the river were very friendly and made the experience great. Would highly recommend this excursion to others. Lunch was so great as well. Bring tip money for the rain forest guide, tubing guide and Michelle and Jonathan as they all work very hard and fully deserve it. Very humid out in June, sp be prepared to sweat a ton. Thank you for amazing memories.

Rafting, rainforest, beautiful animals, traditional food, waterfall hike all in one and for all ages! - This experience was great! Alex was our tour guide and Juan was our driver and we highly recommend them. They picked us up at 7:15am at The Coast in Tamarindo. Alex is very hospitable and knowledgeable of Costa Rican history, legends, animal and environmental area facts and is very personable. We felt comfortable as if we had known him. The animal sanctuary is beautiful. We saw red dart frogs, sloths, an eyelash viper snake, tree frogs, and lush plants in the rainforest. We got to make a photo stop at The Peace Tree. The river raft tubing was so much fun. We travel a lot and have never done this before. The water is a gorgeous milky blue; it’s so refreshing and the rapids are great for all ages, including our 10 year old daughter and 72 year old mother-in-law. At the end of the tubing experience we had a traditional Costa Rican meal with your meat of choice, rice, beans, salad and plantain. Delicious! The last stop on our tour was the national volcano park where we hiked to the waterfall. You are not allowed to get in the water here, but we got to swim and swing from a rope in the river rafting part. On the way home, we stopped for souvenirs and tried coffee and chocolate which we ended up buying both of, because they’re so good. The drive from Tamarindo is about 2 hours and then a 40 minute drive between stops, so it’s a long day. We got back to our hotel at 6:30pm, but it was well worth it! Thank you Alex Garcia and Juan for memories we will have with our family forever. Pura Vida! Ortiz Family
