The best - Christian's tour company provided excellent service. Johnny and JC were great guides. We used Christian for Airport to hotel , to see an incredible waterfall, atvs, mud bath at the volcano and to see sloths and other animals. Do not hesitate to use Christian, you will save a lot of $$ vs what the hotels charge for non private tours!!

Wonderful sloth watching tour and waterfall swim. - A great tour to a local waterfall, and then sloth watching tour. Our driver and guide, Jerson, was great. It was a bit of a drive from where we were picked up—nearly 2 hours from the JW Marriott in Hacienda Pinilla—to the first stop, but he had a couple stops pre-planned for picking anything up at a market, and restroom breaks. The Llanos de Cortez waterfall is beautiful—you can swim in it if you like, and there are restrooms there for changing. After that, another 90 minutes to the rainforest sloth tour. There, a local guide takes you on about a one hour hike. We were fortunate to see sloths, many birds, frogs, and two types of tree vipers. After that, a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, 5 minutes from the sloth viewing. Then, for us anyway, a 3 hour ride home, but again, pre-planned stops if necessary. Also, the company called the day before to verify pick-up time and location, which was very much appreciated. Highly recommend this tour, and if we have the pleasure of returning to Costa Rica, we would definitely look to this company again.

Exceptional!!! - Christian and Alex were terrific. Very energetic and knowledgeable. Went the extra mile with taking pictures to bringing us water to wash the sand off our feet. The lunch provided was awesome facing the butterfly garden. Can’t say enough good things about the tour and this team!!!

Definitely a great tour! - Alex the rabbit and Christian were very informative, friendly, accommodating and humorous! We saw all the things we went there for and more! The ride was comfortable and took our needs in consideration. The lunch was fantastic!

Fantastic tour! - We loved our tour experience! The van was very comfortable and cool. Christian and Juan Carlos went above and beyond to make sure we saw as much flora and fauna as possible. They also were very informative about Cista Rica in general. We enjoyed the waterfall, an excellent lunch with butterfly garden and finally the sloth tour. We saw multiple animals and even a young sloth up close!!! More than we expected. Would highly recommend this group!!!!

Private Tour/Shuttle - Used Costa Rica Adventures Travels as our round-trip private shuttle for the airport. We waited a while for the van at the airport but was nothing horrible. Was a great experience working with Christian and his team. We also did a private Rio Celeste Tour where we also did the coffee/chocolate and sloth farm tour. The tour was great minus all the rain so we did feel a little drained after all the outings and lunch. Lunch was really good. Tour and shuttle were all reasonably priced

Excellent! Saw lots of animals & sights! - We did the tour (private - well worth it) with Norman yesterday (April 30) & it was by far one of the best excursions we’ve ever done! It’s no wonder Norman gets such rave reviews - he’s knowledgeable & communicated so much information not only about all the animals & sights on the tour but lots about the Costa Rican culture & history. Highly recommend - great for families ! - An absolutely awesome experience for our family of 6!! We arranged for a pick up close to our VRBO. Juan Carlos was our guide - an experienced naturalist and native Costa Rican he blew us away with his profound and endless knowledge of the flora and fauna and history of this beautiful country ! He was constantly trying to make sure we were seeing everything possible from monkeys and tree frogs to the National bird of Costa Rica ! Lunch was simply delicious and the sloth tour was incredible. Our driver was phenomenal as well - quick to respond when we had a flat tire, kind and helpful every step of the way ! We couldn’t have been more pleased with thus excursion or the hospitality and education we received !

THANK YOU! Beautiful country with beautiful people! - AMAZING! I can not even express what an amazing adventure Christian and Johnny took us on. We combined a couple different options for an epic full day off resort. Christian picked us up at the airport so we got to meet him before we took our tours a few days later. Unfortunately our daughter got sick the day before our scheduled day off resort and we had to switch things around so Johnny became our guide for the day. He was just as knowledgeable and amazing as Christian. Both gentlemen shared so much information about the culture, environment and overall island feel of the country. We started out our tour with Johnny at 7:30am. We visited a waterfall, hot springs, mud baths, rainforests within a sloth farm/sanctuary and had an wonderful authentic lunch. Something we would have never found on our own. We were also able to stop at a souvenir shop because our kids HAD to bring presents back for friends. The sloth farm was by far my favorite part as we were able to see a glorious sloth that we named Flash, close up. It was a private tour that consisted of Johnny our local guide, my husband and I and our two kids, Boy (16) and Girl (12). They loved it all minus the mud 🤣 The Van was air conditioned which was great because it was HOT! I really enjoyed my time in the van just talking to Johnny and Christian about the culture of Costa Rica. Johnny pulled over and gave us fresh tamarind and picked a cashew off a tree. We are so thankful we decided to hire an amazing company to take us everywhere and teach us about the beautiful Costa Rica! Pura Vida! I was joking with Christian when he dropped us back off at the airport when we were all sad we were leaving. I said if our flight got cancelled I’d be calling him. He said we could go have dinner at his house and I honestly think he would have had us over ❤️ Thank you for making our trip to Costa Rica extra amazing!!
